- Welcome to my channel! In this video I play Fossil Trace Golf Club, one of the craziest courses in Colorado! How will I do? Thanks for watching!

Kyle need to see you with byson on the next break 50!!! 🔥🔥
Now that would be a great one!
Byson?
This is my home course and I really enjoyed your thoughts on it. Very fun, but the greens are brutally fast, as you said. One note for anyone visiting this part of Colorado -- this is a high-desert climate and divots don't really take root when replaced. The staff here would prefer you repair divots with grass seed (available on every cart and at every tee). Hope your viewers get a chance to visit. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
Same...have played a couple of men's club events there. I feel even worse now about my game after watching this:( Great vid and job!!!
Your swing looks the best I've ever seen it. Poetry in motion!
Thank you! I’ve been grinding
arrowhead, rain dance, and bear dance are must plays in CO
Bear Dance is my fav.
One of the best tee shots I've ever seen on 9. Epic!
You know you're on a different level when every part 5 goes driver-sand wedge....driver/ wedge...650 yards, driver- 7 iron....from over 250 yards out! May have missed the green but the length was correct. Amazing stuff!
Was here on the 650 yard hole with my buddy's on a bachelor party. Pin was all the way back deep and our friend goes "round of shots when I make this" from the front edge. Dude legitimately hits like a 125 foot putt and walked it in. He also shot like a 90 that day, great times haha
Loving the course vlogs, and especially your commentary with insights on your thoughts with each shot.
I love hearing the mental side of the golf and the thoughts that you even notice get you in trouble on the course. I think that helps a lot of people.
the given is arrowhead, bear dance, the ridge at castle pines, broadmore, but these are all denver area courses that are sick. but all
of colorado there are some incredible courses
Love it. Would be cool maybe next year, you go to Vail or Keystone. Play a true mountain course!
That was us watching on hole 9! Absolutely nailed the distance on the second shot. Thanks for chatting with us.
So stoked on your shot on hole 10. Insane
What a fun course to play. Love it there.
This would be one course I'd love to play!
Thank Jim Engh! A great course designer. Come play Pradera (another Jim course) the next time you are in town.
I played this course on my last trip to Colorado and it was definitely one of the coolest courses I have ever played!
Awesome video, thank you. I have to play this course.
My favorite home course!!! Wish I knew you were here
To get anything on that second shot on hole 8 was nuts... Awesome video
You are pretty much a driving machine these days. You're definitely right, that looked like 5 - 8 uunder at least but still a very nice round and a gorgeous location to play golf. Cheers.
Wow my first ever first comment on any channel!
Awesome haha
Turn back now while you still can!
1:21 158 yards with a sand wedge is absolutely insane!
This is close to my house! Been watching you for a few years crazy you came to my favorite course in CO!
That’s awesome! Got a few more Colorado vids coming up ;)
@@kyleberkshire3371 I really hope you played Bear Dance. I've played 60+ courses along the route from Larkspur to Loveland, and Bear Dance is my favorite course.
I’m really enjoying the videos every Friday Mr. Berkshire.
Insane views definitely a place to visit
Couldn’t agree more!
Just the purest condensed form of youtube golf. Never change 🫡
Wow great round . -9 was definitely in the bag but at least it’s nothing major . You got a plan it seems like you learned from your mistakes, in which you shared .
I saw some of the good good guys play here. Looks amazing! Looking forward to seeing you attack it Kyle.
Always wanted to see someone do that on the first hole, but the par after your drive is actually crazy 😅
What an amazing course. Thanks for sharing with us.
Awesome video I randomly found, subscribed. Keep up the great series and narration.
Great track. Played it this past summer
You posted a story a few weeks ago asking if anyone could name the course and I responded in your DMs that it was fossil Trace. Love this course, played a few weeks ago and drove the green on 10 with my 2 iron from the blue tees. Not as far as you but I’m always the longest in any group I play with!
Great attitude, Kyle. Keep challenge hungry!!
Aweeee hope to see you next time you play there
There is a sign on the chimney, it was an incinerator used for a boy's only school back in the 1900s. So much history here on this course, it's just amazing.
Enjoy your game every time, keep posting thx
A beautiful course here in Colorado. I've played this course many times. Yes, the greens are fast, especially with the warm, dry days Colorado has had this year. The term "fossil" is misused. The vertical layers were originally level but were buried, uplifted and eroded into their present positions. Yes, there are fossils within some of these layers. You played the course very well Kyle!
Great video, great track! Perfect length video! Most youtube golf videos are just way too long and get rather boring after 45 minutes in!
69, playing an unfamiliar course from those tees is super impressive. On this day I'm sure head to head you'd beat many top 50 in world guys. The difference is the 4 day consistency they have. You can only get there by just playing tournaments. But you will get there!
Very enjoyable video indeed - Ty Kyle
love your stuff Kyle keep, you have all the tools
Awesome video - pin placements are always nasty here so don’t think they tricked it up too much! But the greens are rarely that fast…Hope to have you out in Colorado again sometime.
Live close by. I highly recommend this course if you're in Denver. It's so cool. Feels like a Golden Tee course
Great video bud. Love the commentary. Keep grinding!!!
I live about 15 minutes from the course. Played it several times and it’s a great golf course!
Can't wait to see you compete!
played this course from the blue/black combo and shot 87 a week ago. was even through 7 and then went +1 +3 on 8 and 9 for a 40. was there for a wedding and got way too drunk on the back to sustain the 79-81 pace. what a beautiful course though. wouldnt spend $160 probably again, but it was really fun to experience. the greens were fast and daunting at every hole.
actually even on the putting green. i was on the middle tier and couldnt even place my ball to get a putt that was above the 3 or 4 holes they had there. the putting green itself was really really intense.
I love Fossil Trace and live about 10 minutes from it. I don't play the tips though, looks a bit different from back there. 🤣 Hitting a 5 iron on #10 from the tips is just ridiculous, great shot.
I like the way u think bro. U are very on track bro. Keep it up!
It would be super cool to see you play some of the super high mountain courses like copper mountain and vail. Your clubbed speed paired with 9000 feet of elevation would be insane
Good stuff!
I hope you played Bear Dance, it is underated for sure
100% 💯💯👍👍
Bro, the next time you’re in Colorado you need to play Bear Dance! That course is so beautiful and it has the Champions tee’s which I think are playing like 7700 yards. Which for a long player like yourself you would have a blast!!!
Their restaurant serves an amazing lunch. The staff is spot on.
Yep, food is pretty good there.
Hello Kyle, really nice course!
It sure is!
Arrowhead is majestic
I think u navigated the course very well. Putting will come, tough course to putt on fs.
I live about 8 minutes from Fossil Trace. It definitely is a different kind of golf course. It is a hard course. It is in Golden CO, which is a small college town. Beautiful scenery.
Golden known more for home of Coors beer than School of mines!
Haven't finished the video yet, but damn, that 12th hole is amazing.
Oh man! What a great video, I've played there around a dozen times and you found one of the few non windy days... imagine #9 dead into wind, which is what I normally have to do! Hope you made it up to Raindance National, which I shot a 110 at from the tips, i was a 9 hdcp at the time
Hopefully you were able to play Bear Dance and Common Ground. Great video!
Having a pro caddie will help. Reading greens keeping you in the moment etc
Your comment on the trying to make 10-20 footers, just my take on it, the best putters in the world just try to focus on pace, their drills seem to always consist of leaving the ball between the hole and two feet past it, short and beyond two feet is a bad putt, therefore after getting your line, just try to hit it to that pace, not necessarily thinking about “leaving it at a safe leave” or “absolutely blasting this putt to make it, otherwise just make the next one” cause sometimes that makes the next putt too hard.
I’m by no means a good player so if I’m wrong and it doesn’t help then no biggie , but love watching your journey and hope can see you get better!
335 yard 5-iron to 2 feet!!! 😱
I lived a mile away from Fossil Trace and played that course often. It's a fun course, but you better know course management. My best score there is an 82 with lightning fast greens.
Looks awesome 👌 👏 👍 😍
Twin Warriors in New Mexico!
Cool vid mate.
I reckon theyd be better micd up though, talking through each shot live.
⛳:)
Shot 76 there on my birthday this year - crazy to see you hit a 5 Iron on #10, I thought reaching it with my 3 wood was good. I need to hit the gym lol.
Hey Kyle huge fan of you and your videos brother when going to Florida just a suggestion of practice of big events go to TPC Sawgrass would be a great video keep up the great work brother
I have no right to comment really when you're way better at golf then I am 😂
However watching you miss a couple of putts under 3 feet (especially hole 11). I really think you would benefit by slowing down and reading the putt even at that length! It's all too common when it's only a couple of feet away to think I'll just tap it in but that was a touch watch. Great playing though man! Love watching thre 18hole blogs
A super course
Absolutely
I was probably running on top of South Table (mesa in the beginning of video) when you recorded this. I live a half mile from that course.
Played here last week. Broke my 8i on the approach into 18, clubhead sailed into the lake.
Nice as always. Awaiting your 1st pro PGA torunament...Oh, humans came WAYYYYYY after the dinosaurs went extinct. ;)
Would love to see you play Sandhills. Just one state over.
You've got a great putting stroke. Try a LAB putter. You're welcome 😁
Wow, hitting sand wedge for your second shot into a par five 576 yards. Crazy
Damn bro your shoulders are so flexible . John Daly work hard on putting to be a PGA champ get grinding for us mortals. It would be cool to see you swing speeds on tee box like a swing radar. So we can see how much your speed varies .
I cannot believe how straight you hit your drives . Chipping is every thing .
The infamous birdogie shows her face again. Great round.
🤣🤣
I recommend you try Keystone Ranch next time you're in CO!
6812!! Pitch and putt!
Hi Kyle. My thoughts on lip outs... if you are touching the hole a lot from all over, that is a good thing overall. But if you are hitting too many edges from close in, there could be something that isn't matching up.. stroke... read... or how the ball comes off the putter. If it isn't a persistent thing, don't worry about it. If it is a persistent thing, then it's time to break it all down and examine what's going on. Cheers.
I also like that you have the face square at address, when your intention is to hit the ball straight. It matches up with your natural release. If you want to go to the next level of hitting the ball straight.... just add this now. *** Whenever the shaft is level to the ground, it should also be parallel to the target line. *** This alignment should happen 5 times during the swing...and when done produces a dead straight ball flight. Cheers again.
Sick trck bro!
Heritage eagle bend is pretty sick tbh
You're playing really well. I feel your pain on the putting. I had a round last week where I had 11 birdie putts. I made one...ONE!?!?!?!? And turned three of them into bogies. 75. SOOOOOOO Frustrating. I need some putting instruction.
That is a fun course to play out there. I got the chance to play course. I think you should play purgatory in Noblesville Indiana. You have to play from the purgatory tees.
The Pfau Course would be worthwhile for him too while out there, I believe it's 7800ish from the tips
@Kyle Berkshire if you see this please see @Dan Grieves your short game will be dialed in!! I honestly think you could be well under par with lessons from a good coach!🔥💯
Oh man I hope you Played Raindance National. I think you did, you came into my work, Qdoba, to get some food.
I wonder what you could do with a professional caddy.... probably make the PGA tour eventually. Maybe LIV someday!
Edgewood in south lake Tahoe is stunning
Kyle all the whites in your videos are really bright, kind of lose definition on things…. Love the content brother! 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
wow my first ever 15th comment on any channel
🤣🤣
You should try using a mic on the course, love the vids 🔥
cool course
I’d suggest Copper Creek Golf Course at Copper Mountain, as it’s the highest elevation 18 hole course in the US.
Please do another what’s in the bag with lofts as well. Please
Great idea 💪🏻
Have you played Crofton in past few days? The greens are running at 14. You must have asked the crew to speed them up so you could practice 😅
