You and the kids can apply together provided your husband consent to it, however, I don't think your sister can come as a dependent irrespective of the age. Dependent can only be your children or spouse. Finally, I really can't say if business visa can be switched to charity visa, I personally have not witnessed it before. So you might need a solicitor for a proper understanding.
I thought they said at least £1250 with you they didn’t say for every they just say it must be in your account before 28 days of applying for the visa.

Loan has nothing to do with your work except you are considering bank loan, the major step in getting a soft loan is to register on the Grampian electoral, I've been working now for quite sometimes, yet I'm not eligible for soft loan just because I did not register with Grampian. I just got registered and guess what, in less than a month, I can get loan from klarna, PayPal and the rest.

Sure you can, but you need to be on that same visa for at least 5 years in the UK before you can apply for ILR

Yes the visa last for 12 months but it's renewable
