I"m a veteran reloader having done it for 56 years. My hands don't work very well and have trouble using my old trimmer. After seeing this video I decided to try the LEE trimmer. What an easy tool to use . Now I have a lot of brass to trim because I have been unable to find an easy way to accomplish it for several years. Really slick, and does a very accurate job...thanks.

I just bought one of these and tried it out on a .223 cartridge, it works great! This is a reloaders butter for his bread!

Great pointers! I just ordered the "Lee Precision Deluxe Trimmer" today (an upgrade of this model) and like the no-muss,no fuss aspect of this product.Besides doing case preparation all in one step,I am limited on reloading space so it is just what I need to avoid added clutter on my work bench. All the gadgets for hand-loading are wonderful tools, but as new ammo loader I strive to save time and space. This item covers brass case downsizing, chamfering and deburring all in one stage, so it' a keeper. Thanks!

Just bought my first press last night, felt lost while researching good affordable case trimmers. Watched this and I’m buying my Lee quick trim right now. Thank you sir!

Take your time and get it set properly. Be sure to measure a few cases each time you set it up and it should do the trick. Trim after you size the case.

Got this Lee trimmer after I saw your clip around April this year. Did not need one because I had alternatives but gave it a try. Best price option for sure. No need to measure anything. Here is my own in action on .357 conversion to .38. @

Glad it works for you. I could not see the link in your comment. Have a great day.

I have one that came with my press kit. It's garbage. Trying to trim 308 to 2.005" I've run it from all the way out just to see where it touches the case- it finally does at about 8 or 9 adjustment clicks. One more click (which is supposed to be 0.001") and my case could go from 2.017 to 2.010, 2.007; or could go all the way down to 2.000. it's anyone's guess.
I picked up the Lyman Universal today because I've got a few cases that measure 2.005 and i can just put one of those in it, run the cutter up to it, lock it down, and be good.

I like the Lee trimmer but don't like the idea of bits of brass dropping all over the progressive press. if it would work without a press then it would a good deal.

You are right. I have only used it in my Rock Chucker single stage press. Thanks for watching.

Love the Grendel. I would like to shoot that new 6mm ARC too.

*I just found mine in the bottom of one of the drawers on my loading bench a little while ago. I hadn't used it in so long I had to come here for a refresher course. I have a Frankford Arsenal prep station I run most of my stuff through. (I load for 6 different rifle cartridges plus a few pistol calibers' and the Lee setup takes too long. It's good for small batches of certain straight walled stuff like 45-70 or .38-.357 but for a $125.00, for bottle necked cartridges, that FA Prep Station is money well spent. It trims, chamfers, de-burrs and cleans the primer pocket all in one place/step. I do wish it was quieter.*
*For the record, I actually don't mind working cases. I've been reloading since the early 80s. I have an ancient single stage Pacific Press, (Hornady before it became Hornady) that I bought used, that's probably had 50,000 cases run through it...(I used to load PALMA rounds for our local PALMA Team)..I'm retired, and find it a relaxing distraction from all the BS going on in our current World of never ending garbage*

Thanks for you great comment. You are correct. I also use the FA case prep. th-cam.com/video/hhDUR-pTQog/w-d-xo.html
