In the original film, it was David Hedison who became the fly. Vincent Price played his brother. Hedison was mostly TV actor, who starred in “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.”
It's easy to see why this film was so groundbreaking when it came out back in the 80's because the special effects still look amazing, it has the best transformation ever done in a film and Goldblum gives a commanding dynamic performance as the tragic Seth Brundle.

“Be afraid, be very afraid,” were lines contributed to this movie by one of its producers, a gentleman named Mel Brooks.
One of my favorites
I have always loved this movie. It is definitely a tragic love story.
Totally a love story, especially in that final scene.
Love Halloween , thanks for letting us celebrate it with you
Geena Davis and Jeff Goldblum fell in love and got married after starring in this film. Of course, they didn’t stay married.

Great jokes guys. You really added to it.
Really appreciate that
Great movie, don’t bother with the sequel, it’s terrible
We won’t lol
It's many times better than The Thing with acting, script etc. Unfortunately The Thing is considered the 'cool' film to watch on TH-cam and not this.
Holy sht I had memories of this movie and didn’t realize it until I saw your reaction
