Hey thanks again Mark for having me on the channel! I already have a bunch more interesting notes and stories if you’d like another interview in a week or two I’d be happy to share. Thanks for the tips today as well on the TH-cam channel. I’ll try to keep it up the best I can. Cheers.

Really enjoyed your story on with Mark , every man has a story. I'm 63 and single. It's amazing that every struggle that you are having at 35 , im having at 63. I thought it was just me and my age. I pray that God will continue to bless you and bring you a Christian woman to spend your life with. I have a son who is 40 and tells me how he has the same struggles . God bless you

We can all learn some things from Scott. Just as Americans love that Filipinos speak English, Filipinos LOVE it when you attempt to learn even minimal amounts of their language. Learn the basic geography of the country so you know where you are going and can tell others where you have been. Google and GPS have spoiled us so we are often clueless to basic geography. Do those 2 things and you will be a rockstar in Philippines.

Learning a little bit of the language of another country is always appreciated by the people of that country. I don’t buy it when people say they just can’t learn another language for whatever reason. The truth is they don’t want to.

Scott really is a very smart guy!! A lot of guys are stuck working a job, a slave to his employer, and they wait like me to retire to see the world, and now my body has given way before I could retire and can no longer walk for more than 5 minutes as I had an autoimmune illness that attacked my nervous system brought about by stress, trying to accumulate wealth for my retirement. Now I have nothing. And cannot travel the world either!😅. Scott is wise beyond his years. He is not stuck at a job trying to buy the latest cellphone or a Tesla which they are stuck paying for, for ever. And the excitement wears out after a few weeks and they are depressed again.
Scott can get along with anyone now as he has met so many different people. And he has seen the Taj Mahal...which was my dream. I am still going to try but it will cost me a lot more as I need all the comforts with my condition. And it would be a dream to go to Palawan and Bohol.
I just wish I was as wise as he was at his age!

Mark, This guy's generation is similar to other people his age. Our generation is so much different from their generation. Working and making lots of money is not their thing. They live their life differently and a lot of them stay single.

yes. 40% of them are choosing to stay single....is what I saw recently. They no longer believe in home ownership...can't blame them, if you miss a payment or not pay your property taxes, insurance....you can lose your home. They say the Pandemic made they realize that a quality life is more important and it should not be work, work, work to make a billionaire or shareholders rich while one is reduced to a slave. I think they got it right!

I guess it depends in which State you buy one from??. However, one has to be careful where you locate as with tornados and hurricanes getting wilder each year...i know because i live in a State that has had more than i fair share of hurricanes. They are also not well insulated for cold climates. You also have to have land to locate it on. Usually if you have a parent not living in the city or an HOA than you could park it on their property. One would also need to have a good working truck to be able to tow it. Unfortunately the US does not have too many areas that are not affected by the weather. CA would be great if it wasn't so darn expensive! Not too many good options in the good ol' USA.

One thing that resonated with what he said, in the US even a slight unfortunate incident can cost you thousands - from a car accident, to a health incident to a huge bill when your rental lease or car insurance renews, stuff like that causing constant stress. These types of things are getting worse and worse in the US as time goes by.

i agree...i am so afraid of anyone coming on my property and if they trip and fall, they will sue for everything you got! Everyone is so sue happy. I just read that a woman at a Dollar store in the US had another customer approach her at one of the stores and preposition her for sex and he did just touch her before leaving..and she has now turned around and is sueing the Dollar Store for millions of dollars saying she was violated. Most women in America believe she has a case from the comments i read.

Great interview Mark. i had given up on moving to the Philippines but i find myself so frustrated here in the US...each day i hate it. If not for my health i would have been on the first flight out of here. I just watched a video before this one of an elderly man who shot and killed his disabled bedridden wife. He reached out for help for her and he got none. He has health issues of his own and he just couldn't help his wife. The system failed them. Unfortunately we are going to see a lot of that to come. The US should have been open to accepting more immigrants to help in this area, but failed. The Filipinos are exceptional care givers. The US should have opened the door to them. And honestly it is the Hispanics are are really keeping this country going. No immigrant can work like them, in extreme weather they are on road construction, on roottops, buildings, picking fruit at lightening speed. It is sad the bad rap they get! Very unfair! The US could collapse without them.
Canada is going through a crisis as they don't have access to Hispanics and even though they have taken in so many immigrants they don't have the kind that will work like the Hispanics.
Sorry, didn't mean to go on a tangent. i just think the reason the US is not doing as well is labor, it did not take in the required immigrants into the country w🎉hen it needed too. It would have kept costs down and kept the cost of living down. We created our own problems. Now the cost of living is so high it is oppressive to live here. i need some plumbing work done as i am not able to, but i am afraid to call one! I took my old truck in for repairs, they handed me an estimate for over $3k! i guess most people put it on a credit card and in debt like everyone else. The labor rate for a mechanic is so high. And nobody wants to work for less, they rather stay on government aid. Rents are so high because maintenence costs are so high, and insurance rates and taxes have gone up. The police have no choice but to try to get you for a minor traffic infraction as they need the income to run their departments. Immigrants could have been brought in as plumbers and car mechanics etc. Only the rich can afford to hire help. And California are all for immigration as they depend on their house help a lot. True fact: I have a well to do friend from my previous job who are so anti immigration yet have a Hispanic maid where they pretend they don't know anything about her legal status. I heard from another friend that her husband was arrested and was deported. Crazy world we live in!! 😂
