Thank you Vijay, pushing the envelope; speaking the real truths of the matter at hand. The hypocrisies, the inequalities, the colonization. Because the other thing the Vijay didn't discuss is that the former colonizers of African countries represent them in the IMF...so the fox watching the hen house. Ever appreciative.

Chines stories such as the ones Eric mentioned, the world should to hear and spread. Why the mainstream media don’t report those encouraging stories to the world?

Because the mainstream media belongs to the US and it’s vassals.

The western governments and western media are not interested in the good stories about China. They are more interested to made a mountain out of a mole hill any unfavourable story from China. Even when none exist, they will manufacture one. Like the non existent genocide in Xinjiang or that China has been spreading the false narratives about the health situation of Princess Kate of UK

Vijay, you are great! Unlike Christopher, who didn't make any contribution , you and the others provided excellent info.

Janet Yellen was recently in Zambia insinuating that Zambia’s debt problem
is related to China! Meanwhile she goes to China to ask China to continue
    supporting US debt!

Classic American hypocrisy, double standards, hubris, racism in action and in practice.

Vijay's observation on how the term "authoritarian" is quite astute

Wow, nice to see that Eric X. lee is now a "venture socialist" instead of a "venture capitalist."

That's what happens when a socialist country does capitalism better than a capitalist country.

@@Orwellian-Purple-Grapes-1984 It happens when a great leader takes money from rich people and distributes it to poor people. Capitalism has been a disaster not just for China but for the whole world. I think President Xi knows this, and now Eric X. Li has shifted his venture "capitalist" scheme towards "socialism" instead. Most of the world prefers authoritarian socialism: China, of course, but also Russia, Iran, North Korea and other progressive countries.

@@bartonlee3594 Well, yes. You tax the rich and you use those taxes for social projects such as infrastructure, water management, healthcare, etc. which directly and indirectly benefit the masses and the poor - plus your government owns important key industries via SOE and has other leverages to strongly help guide and direct your country's economy in certain directions to benefit the masses. That is socialism.
And in the long run such a socialist system is also better for capitalists, because it's quite obvious, when you compare the capitalist USA to the socialist China markets, which of these two countries has a more vibrant and dynamic economy and is therefore the more interesting country for capitalists to invest in - i.e. it's obviously China.

@@Orwellian-Purple-Grapes-1984 China, of course, is more vibrant, obviously. We have many more personal freedoms and choices than in the capitalist "Deep State" western cunt-ries.

@@Orwellian-Purple-Grapes-1984 after all the rich wealthy corporations have benefitted too from public funded infrastructures, but the key point is, Corporate Capitalist must never rise above the govt/people and if they do, they will run the govt using profit models like in the U$A, the most successful corporate state, corporations practically runs the govt, but a failing people state, it has failed ordinary americans which is basically modern enslavement or servitude to the wealthy class now hiding behind faceless corporate entity committing crimes ...foreign and domestic.

IMO the tragedy is that these topics get very little traction in the media and in policy. I believe that this can only change when the value can be shown to benefit many. In the US this was done when the Interstate Highway system was built. Other nations have have completed similar projects.

West: Is China going to step forward to push the international climate change agenda?
China: We offer affordable solar panels, electric vehicles, batteries, and wind turbines.
    US: China's overproduction is a concern-imposing a 100% tariff on Chinese EVs.
Europe: Chinese state subsidies create an unfair advantage-38% tariff on Chinese EVs.

@@tigading2177 Good points. I agree. Capitalism leads to a downward spiral of poverty. The "venture socialist" Eric Lee now understands that socialism is the correct path. Fauci is the man who spread the AIDS crises back in the 1980s.
