    I rarely comment Paolo, but it suddenly dawned on me that your style of narrating harkens back to my childhood when the announcer or narrator would kindly, and gently walk you through a subject or documentary. As an adult, it's a very relaxing style, and I love it! 😁👍✌

    Fun fact: Singing to time certain processes was extremely common all around the world prior to clocks and timers becoming ubiquitous. People would sing as they cooked, blacksmiths would sing as they heated metal, etc.

  • @hokshii
    @hokshii 2 ปีที่แล้ว +90

    "back in the day, brewers would sing to time the process" that fact is as heartwarming as it is adorable! kinda helps me imagine all the love being put into making the sake straight from the first step. handmade sake really is something else.
    there are so many other cool and innovative things happening here! the table also being a scale to measure water content as the rice ferments, using locally sourced mineral water, filtering the sake in bags manually... it's just a treasure trove of information and sake mastery! thank you so much as always for your incredible videos, paolo!

    Fascinating to see the sake-making process! About a year ago, a local sake brewer in my city had a tasting-and-learning session where participants could, for a reasonable price, try the whole lineup of their offerings. It was an amazing experience…but unfortunately I underestimated how much I had drunk and could barely stand up at the end. Anyway, it was a ‘learning’ experience in more ways than one. 😅
