Josh Allen is Brett Favre in a league where Tom Brady exists. Josh is going to rack up a ton of records both good and bad. And he's just hoping to break through to the big game once or twice

Allen never does that, his turnovers come on third and long in the second quarter and situations like that.
I kind of agree with this. Allen has drawn comparisons to Elway, Roethlisberger and Newton, and while I think those comparisons are mostly valid, I think he compares best to Favre. You have to be a great QB to do what he’s doing. Sam Darnold or Daniel Jones couldn’t be swapped in and also lead the league in passer rating. Interesting tidbit about this year though is his teammates have been more of a hindrance than help. I believe they’re tied for last in receiver separation. Meaning Brock rarely has open guys. And are near the bottom in YAC as well. Which is why it’s shocking he’s leading the league in passing yards
Gotta say, after all the points you’ve made, I’m actually pretty convinced Daniel Jones is Elite. Thank you Barry for being such a well of perfect football knowledge!
I agree with this list. My personal top 3 is 1. Allen, 2. Mahomes, 3. Stafford. I think though you cant put Lamar in the same tier as Allen. Hes just not as good as Allen at playing the position especially passing and definitely playoffs aswell. I would put Lamar in above average behind Stafford and probably Stroud as well.
Kyler's the only one I disagree with, dude is super accurate and has that ability to scramble and extend the play to make somethin happen consistently*. Numbers lie with Murray and if I'm right we'll see that this year. 4300 yds, 31 TDs combined rushing and passing, 9 INTs is my prediction
If Kyler can do that on a very horrible Cardinals team, then he should get MVP. Honestly though, I don’t see him playing well. He looked ok when he came back last season. Just worry about regression (like with Hurts and Cousins).
How? Blondie did/does worse than his 900 k back-up. You get better results with the replacements, earning 1/50 or less than this over-rated, hyped up by MSM QB. Cigar Joe belongs to the scrubs tier. Since Mr Arrogant gets shoved up 50 mio up his a..., he became the poster boy of dink and dork passers. And that with Chase and Higgins. Ouch.

I don't agree with the Joe burrow take because the injuries haven't been his fault or anything that OL has been extremely bad, he is gonna put the league back on notice this year. Glad the packers aren't in the AFC or especially the north.
Being honest there were a few weeks last year when the media was on the train that Allen was a bum that I was starting to believe it. But when I step back, man Lamar is a bum come playoff time while Allen has dominated and only really been slightly edged out by Maholmes. Besides the Yr when he came into the playoffs with busted ribs he has been elite come playoff time and truly put his team into position to even beat Maholmes but the other guy just pulls something out of the hat at the last second(s). Great take Barry
This man says burrow is overrated but also says cincys best two years were a fluke. The two things cant both be true. If theyre a fluke then who provoded the magic to get them there?
@richardsinclair7661 to be fair both of his season ending injuries have been kinda fluky but if it happens again the narrative definitely will be that he's injury prone
@@centristamerican7845 Oh, I definitely agree. That's why I said he was unlucky. His first season ender wasn't even his fault. The Bengals front office basically let him get murdered.
@richardsinclair7661 yeah the o line was basically non existent. He still took them to the super bowl with that bad line the next year though. Truth is the bengals weren't a fluke then; they had an incredible post season defense and the offense put up points when they needed it. Even after those two years and going 9-8 with a backup qb, somehow they still find themselves underrated, slept on, and counted out by the rest of the league
best qb of all time you need to stop and think for one second just one who has more rings, who has beat him twice when it matters most, who has better stats for every imaginable category and finally who has been able to play for that long. Brady has. It's not comparable brady is better than mahomes
I disagree with the outlook on Justin Herbert he’s easily an Elite QB stuck on possibly one of the worst rosters and coached teams in the NFL these past few years. Justin has had to do everything for this Chargers team. The fact that he’s still able to put up stats comparable to other Elite QB’s despite the fact that he has a significantly worse team and coaching just goes to show how good he is. I means for goodness sakes he had the lowest turnover worthy play percentage in PFF history last year yet somehow still threw 7 ints 😂. If that doesn’t prove how bad his team is I don’t know what does. If he wasn’t on the field last season the Chargers simply would not have won a single game.
@@eskaton99 Lol that’s an extremely casual take. You either have never watched a Chargers game or you only play Madden. First of all Keenan Allen and Mike Williams have only played 6 games together in the past 2 seasons. And second of all the Chargers have had one of the worst rushing offenses in the NFL since Herbert entered the League. Ekeler is a good receiving back but an awful pure runner. All these problems have really come to head this past season with Ekeler being extremely unproductive and injured and Mike Williams just missing the entire season, but I guess him having Keenan Allen makes up for no run game and constant dropped passes by everyone not named Keenan Allen?
hot take: if joe burrow had a good or even elite O line, he’d be back in the playoffs. bengals have fallen off on their defense and receiving core. but i think they still can make a bounce male
Before watching, here's mine. Not doing funny tier names this time. S: Patrick Mahomes A: Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert, Lamar Jackson, Matthew Stafford B: Jared Goff, Jalen Hurts, Jordan Love, Dak Prescott, Brock Purdy, Aaron Rodgers, C.J. Stroud C: Kirk Cousins, Trevor Lawrence, Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, Tua Tagovailoa D: Jacoby Brissett, Derek Carr, Daniel Jones, Will Levis, Gardner Minshew, Geno Smith, Deshaun Watson, Russell Wilson F: Sam Darnold, Bryce Young Not ranked: Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix, Anthony Richardson, Caleb Williams, and any QB not starting for his team in week 1
Actually I thought (until yesterday) CB will do well enough to not fully bust, given the awesome supporting cast he got. I mean The Rypper, Bagel and Reed had a fantastic pre season, whereas CB at least was a tad below them. But since the Bears chose him, they have to play him, the supporters will cover up his shortcomings... Boy was I wrong. He was worse yesterday than my April bust forecast suggested (when the fingernails, latex posings in Vogue, me-me-me-crybaby, arrogance came to light)... Bears fans will still have to wait for the next legit QB since McMahon left in 1989. Ouch.

Drake maye not starting has nothing to do with “he be ruined if he is forced to play right away.” The reason is Robert Kraft loves Jacoby brissett, pure and simple. If it was up to Mayo, Maye would already be the starter.
I would give Lawrence one more chance. 2023 was brutal with the drops, him being very banged up by mid season with multiple injuries. Not saying dude is top but I would put him above average. I would also say Geno had no chance last year also with that awful play calling and also being banged up bad by mid season.

Just worry about regression (like with Hurts and Cousins).
hes mid

@TheDontaviousMartinLutherIII usually when you're wrong it's hard to come up with shit to back it up.

“You can’t make a bad quarterback into a great quarterback statistically.” 😎
Burrow not in elite is crazy
Ouch.
@@FoxxyBrown1111 I can’t argue with someone who isn’t literate I’m sorry
Week 1 stats, Burrow in the gutter. Probably declining after wrist injury last year.
@@wilhoroshak5035 I mean he starts bad every year but that doesn’t mean he magically forgets how to play football. Like in a few weeks he’ll pick it up and start playing like Joe burrow again, you can’t hold someone’s injury against them nobody finna play they best hurt
Derrick Carr is like a worse version of Kirk Cousins: Will put up lots of yards, But can't really win anything in the clutch...
But worse...
After week one, you were right about Burrow. I will never question your ball knowledge ever again.
You’re a hero for posting so much recently Barry
I don't agree with the Joe burrow take because the injuries haven't been his fault or anything that OL has been extremely bad, he is gonna put the league back on notice this year. Glad the packers aren't in the AFC or especially the north.
babe wake up. barry dropped his 2024 qb tiers
Damn you called it on Sam Darnold having a chance to shine in Minnesota
i’m a simple man. i see a barry upload, i click the video
Aww Barry’s feeling are still hurt over the 2021 AFC championship game. He must have cried himself to sleep and/or lost a lot of money :(((
I'm new to this channel. Will you be watching any nfl games, this year. If so, have you considered making reviews of the games each week?
Being honest there were a few weeks last year when the media was on the train that Allen was a bum that I was starting to believe it. But when I step back, man Lamar is a bum come playoff time while Allen has dominated and only really been slightly edged out by Maholmes. Besides the Yr when he came into the playoffs with busted ribs he has been elite come playoff time and truly put his team into position to even beat Maholmes but the other guy just pulls something out of the hat at the last second(s).
Great take Barry
Hey Barry what happened week 17 last year
This man says burrow is overrated but also says cincys best two years were a fluke. The two things cant both be true. If theyre a fluke then who provoded the magic to get them there?
The same reason he hates Brady is the reason he's always shitting on Burrow. Isn't it obvious by now
I don't think Burrow is overrated, but he definitely has bad luck with injuries.
Unironically excellent list

How do you think Joe Burrow overrated but not Justin Herbert the most overrated quarterback not named Josh Allen
Jared Goff didn’t just come close to a Super Bowl, he’s been in a Super Bowl
Brock Purdy is ELITE. Joe Flacco is still the the most elitest of elite ever, but Purdy is 2nd. All-time great!
Tush push>wildcat run. Respect from a Cowboys fan.
Right place right time like Foles in Philly?
6:13 there’s genuinely no way you included this and put it on Bryce young 😭
Pat Mahomes being F tier is a take. Very compelling argument.
So blessed that my wife's boyfriend let me watch this masterpiece. Thank you Barry.
best qb of all time you need to stop and think for one second just one who has more rings, who has beat him twice when it matters most, who has better stats for every imaginable category and finally who has been able to play for that long. Brady has. It's not comparable brady is better than mahomes
I still haven’t seen anything from Caleb Williams to tell me that he’s not just another flashy college player
Brock Purdy next year will be the GOAT tier trust
Minshew over Russel Wilson is definitely a choice
I'd take him over Jones. Lol
Love your vids Barry! Will we be getting a triggering fanbases vid soon?
Thanks Barry for the great vid!
I like Jalen Hurts, but if you took all the tush push TDs/1st downs, I don’t know if they make the Super Bowl. That play saved that season.
He had a bad defense mostly, saying he had bad skill group guys when healthy is just wrong
Elite qbs win playoff games where they have a 20 point lead. Herbert lost his vs the jags
@@alexanderguerrero347 So MVP Matt Ryan was never elite. lol gotcha.
Lol he had one of the best receiving cores in the league most of his career, including a top receiving rb...what are we even talking about here?
S: Patrick Mahomes
A: Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert, Lamar Jackson, Matthew Stafford
B: Jared Goff, Jalen Hurts, Jordan Love, Dak Prescott, Brock Purdy, Aaron Rodgers, C.J. Stroud
C: Kirk Cousins, Trevor Lawrence, Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, Tua Tagovailoa
D: Jacoby Brissett, Derek Carr, Daniel Jones, Will Levis, Gardner Minshew, Geno Smith, Deshaun Watson, Russell Wilson
F: Sam Darnold, Bryce Young
Not ranked: Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix, Anthony Richardson, Caleb Williams, and any QB not starting for his team in week 1
I just don’t understand how Lamar got MVP over Dak this year, I just don’t understand
Thank you for saying what you said about Brock Purdy. That was a fair assessment.
Caleb Williams.
You see Aaron Rodgers and ProBowl,
I see JaMarcus Russell and BUST.
Ouch.
Good video. My only bugaboo is your above average list is too large. Average should be your largest tier.
Why is Bryce Young already a scrub? Shouldn’t he be too soon to tell?
You're one of the only TH-camrs whose ads I watch without skipping cause I know you'll need the money to stop marijuana overdose in this country. You're a saint Barry
Trevor Lawrence was looking great until he got hurt and starting playing through an injury…why does Jalen Hurts get a pass but Trevor doesn’t?
With each video the takes get worse and worse
I won't say that, but the Burrow ranking is definitely for attention and for more clicks/discussion.
@@mauricealexander9975 Yeah im definitely hating a little too hard but the Burrow take is god awful
@@learntolovenotregret I'm starting to think he hates Burrow because Burrow is everything he dosen't like about Quaterbacks just like another QB who's last name started with B
Carr and Bryce young are some of your worst misses. Completely left out the fact Bryce young had the worst supporting cast in the league and Derek Carr is a fucking bum.
When are we gonna get the McCockiner vs. McConkey cage match?
absolute love the way you left tom Brady from the discussion
It’s crazy how many decent QBs there are. Even if you don’t get the top tier, you’ll be perfectly fine
