Great route idea! No one else has a video on this route. I tried part of the Bauerle Ranch trails this morning. A bit on the rocky/tricky side for a rigid road/gravel bike, but I made it through the loop. It seems as though the Canterbury, Train connector, and connector to Mary Moore might be more forgiving. Wish I had attempted but will soon after watching this. Awesome video.
I have hiked those trails a lot, but have only gone from Bauerle Ranch to Mary Moore Searight a few times. Each of those few times, I have by luck avoided being alongside the mile-long stretch parallel to the railroad tracks when a train passes. What is the sensation if you are on that trail when a freight train or passenger train passes? Do you back away from the track and up against someone's fence to put a little more distance between you and the train?
I feel like I am a safe distance from the train when it passes. There is one section that you get closer to the tracks but I just make sure I am not there when it passes. To be honest I have only been on the section once when the train passed.
Nice ride and video ❤😊
Thanks ✌️we have a few more lined up! Stay tuned…

Awesome spot I would like to ride that trail
It’s a great trail. I didn’t think much of it for a long time.
Going to check it out tomorrow if I can find the trailhead I live here in Buda
Did you check it out?
You skipped all the rock features by the RR bridge!
Joining us for SATN Social tomorrow?
Well crap! I'll need to get back out there for that feature.
What is the time and location for the meetup? I'll see If I can make it.
