@KrishPatel-ne8eb In the highway code it says in the presence of streetlights assume the speed limit is 30mph unless you see speed limit signs and the last time, I was there was a year ago I never saw a twenty sign in the time you mentioned. The speed limit changes to 40mph at 20:36 and 30mph at 21:45. Good luck with your driving test.
he was going rather slow for the speed limit, 28 in a 40, and mostly staying under 30, can't they fail you for this ? also any tips on speed limits on roads around Upton, got my test Thursday morning , thanks for the video!
James Matthew Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to people passing and failing on their driving test. The only advice is to have a calm and concentrated mind which will allow you to have peripheral vision and not tunnel vision. Remember to scan for speed limit signs and never lose your concentration for one second. Good luck with your test in the morning.
@@petermalone6688 thanks for your response Peter, I kept your advice in mind during the test, I now really understand driving test nerves!! Rocky to start with, went the wrong way on satnav, but kept calm and managed to pass. Thanks again for the video it helped me tremendously! Cheers Peter
@@carnivorejayyMatthew Congratulations and well done for passing your driving test at Upton it makes me happy when a plan works and your comment about understanding nerves is spot on because you remembered to stay calm. Safe driving for life.
Have to say I’m very surprised he passed after failing to make reasonable progress along the Meols stretch, ideal road conditions too - the fact a car had to overtake doesn’t look good either
Also the wait at moreton roundabout was far too long, yes it’s a horrible roundabout especially at peak times but he missed several opportunities to enter. I guess the examiner was feeling generous that day lol
@pauldonnelly3179 I have to agree but nothing surprises me anymore about driving tests because you can put your mortgage on a pupil passing and they fail miserably. Good luck with your test.

@@jennyatherton5922 Yesss, I did pass a month later on my 2nd attempt. It was a different route somewhere around greasby thurstaston heswall. The crazy thing is that it was the same driving examiner. I’ve heard she’s the strictest examiner in Upton cos she find faults from nowhere. But safe to say, I managed to pull through and prove her wrong because the first time she said that ‘you’re not at driving standard’ which is obvious to a person who has failed and she didn’t need to rub it in. What was the speed limit along 14:16 and 18:41. Also are all small roads with residential in this area 20?
Also does the patrol school sign not mean 20 26:29 ?
