I have used this stuff. On real dirty grubby carpets, it doesn't work well. On lightly indoor outdoor carpet its great and fast. Gets lots of stain types out and they do not come back.

You need to test it on staines in order to convince people

It's so good at cleaning clean carpet do you have a product available for dirty carpet

If you lightly spray a carpet cleaner on your stain and then use the brush to agitate it.
You can then use the bonnet to grab the dirt and product from the carpet.
I would recommend soaking the bonnet in water and ringing it out as much as possible.
You can clean a normally dirty carpet this way by cleaning the bonnet as needed. Or a fairly bad stain.
I would recommend a carpet shampooer or steam Cleaning for seriously dirty carpet.
But for light weekly cleaning and the occasional nasty stain this mach works great.
If you use the wet bonnet method. After the carpet dries you can use the dry method and vacuum. Since your not soaking the carpet it should dry within an hour. Quicker if you put a fan on it.
      I hope this helps.
Of course a stiff brush will give you the same results. But whats the fun in that???

Sorry guys this was a fail. You never showed the stain prior to putting down the dry cleaning agent. Big fail that led me to believe it may not work as good as proclaimed.

I have this. It does work well for weekly or monthly cleaning and the occasional nasty stain.
But you need to know how to use it. These two guys prob never cleaned anything serious.
I have over 20 years in a school system. Ive cleaned everything and this mach is great for home or retail. Anywhere where it will be used once a week or a few times a month.

Did they ever say what they were using? It is not actually "dry". It looks like a $25 bucket of "Capture Carpet & Rug Dry Cleaner" He allowed time for it to "dry" before vacuuming. Detergent: Any non-soap cleaning agent. From Latin detergentem "to wipe away, cleanse," from de "off, away" (see de-) + tergere "to rub, polish, wipe,"

If you use any spinning type machine on carpeting (except rotating cylindrical brushes) your manufacturer's warranty ends that day.

A recently removed dry latex paint overspray from tile floors with Jasco paint/epoxy thinner. It helped but the 2 bedroom apartment still took 3+ hours or major scraping with a wire brush. I want to find a Product/Method that will melt that shit away

I own a carpet and hard floor cleaning company, and I quit using all Oreck products except for the orbiter in the video. I had several Oreck vacuums and tried for days to find a motor. Oreck said I had to find a dealer for them to repair it. It would have taken over a month so I found a used Oreck vacuum locally and took the motor out of it. One of my orbiter Bearings failed and they WILL not sell you parts. Again, I was told to find a dealer. I did however find a bearing elsewhere. The orbiter is great and will last a lifetime for the average home owner. If you are a pro, it will still outlast a lot of your equipment.

Oreck no longer sells the powder. So, whether this machine works or not is no longer relevant.
