Chris Sawyer is one the greatest and most inspirational game creators and programmers of all time. I have been playing OpenTTD (Transportation Tycoon Deluxe) non stop for the last few weeks. I grew up playing this game. Thank you for doing it justice.
I clicked for a funny challenge not a thesis on human entertainment god damn this is amazing!!!
I loved roller coaster tycoon 3 as a kid. Had a shitty laptop growing up and it was like the only game that would run decently on it, used to love designing roller coasters and then riding them with the first person camera view.
Man, you coming in hard with the nostalgia bombs...sheeeesh!
I remember playing RCT with a girl I liked in elementary school, we always made the most borderline dangerous rides and cheered when the guests somehow survived them...good times!
Goated game, goated man, goated video!
Loved this game, played it so much. Btw pretty sure you can hold ctrl when building rides, stalls, etc and then raise from there without having to landscape!
Roller coaster tycoon is absolutely one of the contenders for greatest game of all time. It's flawless.
The way you wrapped this up touched my heart
Because of you and one zomboid video, I spent over 200 hours playing zomboid. Now I'm downloading city sim and roller coaster. You have the ability to make any game look amazing!
Also cheers!
this is my favorite video, I remember getting roller coaster tycoon 2 in a cereal box and was so addicted to the sprites and the sounds. I could not even find a site online to buy the first one without getting the whole bundle.
You doesn't have to raise ground if you want to build higher. Just press shift. Took me like 20 years to figure it out.
Been dealing with some bad health stuff recently, just found your channel... it really has helped me.
your videos are really compelling and bring some very welcome respite and distraction.
sincerely, thank you
