My friend has a 2017 Nissan E-Power Note in Japan, first gen e power and until now battery is still working at 97% performance. The battery's performance goes down to 90% after 12-15 years if you use your car on a daily basis.
@@raffycapati Some says p150k-180k... but price goes down after 10-15 years.. no need to worry about it. Perhaps, it might even go down to p50k after 10 years.

Another consideration also should be the maintenance costs. Is it cheaper than the regular car with the traditional combuation engine? How much is the cost difference as well as the frequency of visits to the casa?
Sana ginawa ng PHEV para mas efficient. You can plug it sa bahay mo pag gabi para pag ginamit mo hindi kailangan gumana agad ang makina para irecharge ang battery. 20k/l is already achieved by modern gasoline engined compact cars such as the latest Honda City. Main advantage nito for me is the power you get from the electric motor.
@@krishjasonramos1617 I mentioned advantage ni Kicks is power you get from electric motor. Also PHEV does not mean plug-in only, it's plug-in electric hybrid, combination of both. Check mitsubishi outlander phev as an example.. As for the battery size, they can improve it in exchange for smaller gasoline engine, anyway it is used solely for charging naman.
@@krishjasonramos1617 Time will come costs of battery production will surely drop down because of increased EV adoption.. CA will ban ice cars starting in 2035, this will surely increase competition in lithium battery production as early as this decade. So we can't really say that Nissan will increase price drastically in its future iteration of kicks. Both are hybrids. No matter what they call it, the simple definition of a hybrid for me is both internal combustion engine (ICE) and Electric Motor are present under the hood. The big difference is in the implementation. Corolla cross - both the ICE and the Electric Motor drives the wheels and the ICE is the main driver with the electric motor acting as an alternate. The ICE has 2 jobs, drive the wheels and recharge the EV battery. Kicks - only the electric motor drives the wheels, hence the torque is very high and delivery is instant as is the characteristic of an EV. The ICE’s only job is to charge the EV battery.
