Honestly, while I love the insight on each card, I feel like the best part of this series is just the insight into how you evaluate a kingdom. Can't wait for you to add more expansions to the kingdom evaluation to broaden things up a bit. These kingdoms all feel kind of same-y, even though they all would play very differently in practice.

Interesting, thanks for the feedback. I thouht the opposite was true, people would stay for the slides then leave during the random kingdom analysis, so it's nice to hear otherwise. It's an idea for a bonus video, just random kingdom analysis with all expansions enabled.

@@DominionCards I might not be representative of the larger population. I have enough experience that I know a lot of the broad strokes and understand the fundamental worth and interactions of cards (although there's still plenty to learn from these videos) but I still feel like I struggle with kingdom evaluation in terms of formulating a consistent strategy from start to finish of a game. You highlight the factors to think about in a reasonable order, which helps a lot

Bandit is one of those cards I never know if she is good or bad in that kingdom😂

there are some nice synergies, like when there are gardens, remodel, or the possibility of an engine where the only economy is treasure cards. I also had some nice games where i throned a bandit just for the attack and chapeled them golds away immeditely again (because there was no +buy) :)

In your opinion, how good is it to open Bandit alongside Chapel? I know you said it's usually bad to open Bandit since is slows your Deck down, but if you open Bandit with Chapel and focus your next Deck cycle on trashing 4 starter-deck cards, then even if you use Bandit, you Deck size will be net 3 cards smaller. Alternatively, if you draw the Chapel and the Bandit in the same hand, then you just play the Chapel to trash the other 3 cards and don't play the Bandit, in which case your Deck will also be net 3 cards smaller. Could also work well if we're able to add a deck-cycling card on our second deck cycle, like Warehouse.

I usually find myself disappointed when trying a Chapel / Bandit opening. The dream is getting thin fast then having a deck dense with very high value treasures, while stopping your opponents doing the same, but this rarely works out. Very hard to get deck control and usually hampers your ability to keep building, while the Golds struggle to give you consistent turns. Often its better to go for engine pieces and if you need some money you can just leave some Coppers untrashed for a while, some Coppers aren't so bad if you focus on getting your draw up.
