  • Exporting photographs from Lightroom is really simple, honest. Once you have determined where the photographs are heading, ie print or web it is a doddle.
In this tutorial video I will show you just how easy it is as well as showing you how to add custom watermarks...whoop!
Why not book a 1-1 Lightroom session with me here in Liverpool. I make learning fun with easy to follow explanations. Plus you will have the opportunity bring along a selection of you own photographs to edit. I would love to help you with your creative journey so please get in touch.

Brilliant video as usual, personally I’d like to see how easy it is to resize the image for printing large, then how to actually send it to a print shop. Keep up the amazing work.

Great video!!!..Can you give me some insight on how to print from a macbook pro laptop? .. The photos printed are very flat, don't look anything like the photos on screen monitor..do I need to calibrate laptop? I believe my settings appear correct before printing in the photoshop dialogue setups.
    appreciate!

Frank, thanks for taking the time and effort for this video , I also hope you will do a follow up how too on the printing process. I am trying to have the printer do a large size print for me but surprise he only is familiar with PS and I only know LR so I am not sure how to email the largest file possible. I also shoot with a 16mp 4/3 camera so I am a little befuddled about what to do for cropping. Thanks again for the vid. New Sub John:).

Great video! One question though. If you are planning on printing the image many different sizes can you just leave the resize to fit unchecked so you don't have to keep re-sizing for every different print?

Great video. Just one thing. If you export for web. The resolution (PPI) doesn't mean anything. It doesn't change the file size at all. You can set it to 9000 or 1. Has no meaning for web. It is just information to the printer that says "lets print this image at X ppi".
The "72 PPI for web" is a myth

Great Video, So you download from your memory card to lightroom then save as an A4 document for print. But what do you do if you want it for the web as well ,Do you have to save a second image to an external hard drive.

your screen is blurry..hard to see the numbers…do you have the number of pixels to export for print size? I know 2,400/2,500 for social media usually.
