Shirley you would take one if you had a GPS to the hotel but looks like it turned out pretty well at the place you found with the nice taxi fella. She seemed very nice at reception and it looked like a cosy place! That Red Horse as got some kick Sean haha so funny at the end. Hopefully Google accept my driving license photo I had to send to them today to get my payment back up again to send some beer money. Cheers!

Stayed in Panglao (Alona Beach) for 2 weeks. bit of a mistake staying in one place there for 2 weeks. mostly divers staying for couple nights at a time. We stayed at a hotel ran by an italian guy who made his own Buffalo Mozzarella. Nice Hotel (Henan) at the end of Alona beach you can pay a day rate to use pools, showers, private beach. Had a coupe of good nights at the Reggae Bar on the beach. Great Vlog matey.
I was on the beach in Koh Chang (Kae Bay) this morning when I saw a bottle floating in the sea! On closer inspection I saw it was a "Red Horse beer'! There was a hand written note inside but whoever penned it must have been drunk? Cheers!
I got several free rides by taxis in Thailand. Once by Tuk tuk. Motorcycle twice and dude gave me lift from central Bangkok to north village in Bangkok for free. It would of been 400 baht ride at that time in morning, I tried buying him a 6 pack but he did it for free as he said he was going the same way, one of the bike taxi rides was because one of the bikes outside our condo was seeing me cross through the mega intersection of the toll road freeway and stopped said no good to this jump on. No cost. Yes a tuk tuk free. My girlfriend knew the owner but he did not want to drive. He said my friend is learning he can take you. Learner in the rain. It was fun nearly sideways by speedy Gonzales. Scams and overcharge are rarer than locals actually just wanting to help.
Well earned buddy. Have some good Thai food and a few Leos on me. Hanging out at Manila Airport under the weather for hours waiting for the 5.45 to Bangers is all you need . Have a safe trip, get well soon and take care. :)

Yes, the Philippines has been a major disappointment BUT the people generally brilliant, so friendly, however priority is good health and that has become a problem you could do without. All your travels elsewhere, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia and few issues. Just the Philippines. Maybe time to pull the pin and move on buddy. Sean is a breath of fresh air amongst travel vloggers, but, someone commented a while ago that when youtube has given vloggers 'too many warnings' about promotion of, or content which includes smoking cannabis; that 'youtube will never promote the channel again' so those vloggers will rely entirely on adsense income and no amount of subs or likes will make the algorithm promote you to potential new viewers on their feeds. So those vloggers would rely totally on recommendations from users to encourage others to view or sub. Is there any truth in this? I would hate to think Sean has burnt his bridges with youtube, his subs are not increasing at the rate I expected. I just hope he can make enough money to continue his vlogging. Perhaps without the youtube backlash he would now be a 30-50k subs channel. Dunno? I hope he can give his views next time he does a 'live'
you will never find a second Thailand in SEA but all countries have some unique features. Nevertheless I felt that the Phillipines are quite rough (compared to Vietnam, etc...). Every guards with heavy arms. Also the catholic mentality is quite strict. Sometimes you feel like you are in a Latin Country! And honestly the food sucks. A lot of junk western food and pork.
