Okay im sold on Boothill. super fun break mechanics, simple team requirements, also the cowboy aesthetics is so good! Had some prefarmed break effect sets too from weekly boss whacking since day 1.

I would also keep an eye out on Hanya in a team with him. Very F2P friendly, can run the Penacony Planar Set and the 4* Asta Lightcone to give him an even bigger overall Damage increase and she is a great skill-poikt generator. I will run Gallagher/HMC/Hanya/Boothill, it will be a glorious team!
His damage wipes out every hunt character in my opinion with the right teams

He's so strong that you can destroy enemies even with Non-Hunt LC

@@gym4379 I don't think you got the reference. It's a joke that tectone made about players saying Seele is still on the same level as high tier DPS like Jingliu and IL.
Break effect is probably the funnest mechanic in the game. Im probably gonna go for every break effect charcter from now.

yup this is why i consider xueyi as the meanest 4 star char after pela. too bad her kit isnt very compatible with ruan mei's..

I dont think I've ever been pitched a character so well before. Sure I knew I wanted acheron after learning her kit, but this video in particular completely sold me on Boothill!
Boothill LC gonna be great for my E6 Sushang. Heck you can Dual Dps Boothill with Sushang because that team will be SP positive/neutral.
He looks so cool and his kit is awesome! I love break effect characters and want more for my account! Unfortunately ill still be skipping because i want to save fore SAM. From what i heard SAM is like a hybrid between jingliu and blade while having break effects scaling.

They choose Sam over Boothill which is very understandable, honestly many would do the same thing. Skipping a character you like for a character you like even more is very normal and a clever choice as f2p player.

You are wrong about one thing the talent says the toughness reduction of enhanced basic attack is increased not normal basic attack and that means his toughness reduction at three stacks is 2.5x 60 =150

His dmg is good but his 0 cycle potential is the lowest out of all the 5* limited hunts imo. Mainly cuz his dmg is non existent before break meanwhile other hunts have high dmg from the get go.

but let talk seriously not many people are able to 0 cycle anything in MOC so 0 cycle potential should just be ignore plus there a reason why MOC gave like 10 turn for player to do it for full 3 star
Solution: Pair him with Bronya who has lower speed than him so he could have 4 Turn and Ruan Mei for Faster break ez 0 cycle

I have Ruan Mei and I’m planning to use boothill w her and aventurine and probably another erudition character for more damage like herta (I don’t have jing yuan or himeko) but I’m REALLY hoping Honkai releases another good erudition character!!)
Word on the street is 2.3 phase 2 is a quantum erudition character, but nothing is confirmed just yet

Nihility, erudition and Destruction are becoming competitive both single target and AOE condition. The only Hunt character at least according to recent Pure Fiction Data is Seele beating alot of destruction characters and only hunt hypercarry that can 40k in PF
Well she gets a lot of extra turns, but also need a lot of SP

I really like his design but my setlarrr jade is limited so i guess i have to skip him and wait for his rerun and since his best teammate now is ruan mei, i can't skip ruan mei which is rumoured rerunning in 2.3-2.4, but i'll see
Well I would never recommend skipping Ruan mei even if you don't pull boothill...
what teams can i use if i dont have Ruan Mei? i'm a new player and i have all four stars ( except luka ) + five stars i have are sparkle, acheron,ratio,yanqing and welt
Imaginary trailblazer, and Gallagher, and the last one can be a flex, best to pick someone who can reduce elemental resistance or defence shred, someone like silver wolf or pela....
If you don't have sw you could use suschang to help break the enemy

You made a mistake with calculating Boothill's Toughness damage: It's not 75(2.5 units of toughness), it's 150(5 units). You were calculating based on his regular Basic attack, which is 30 toughness, but his enhanced deas 60 toughness, although his regular Basic is used to calculate maximum break damage in passives (480 Toughness).

but how much worth is boothill lc cause speed I know my relic is substate will sucks a lot like145 speed is way too high for me and if I have to worry about break effect and speed both I will forever stuck farming relic
Well in that case, his LC can be pretty worth it, it actually increases his damage by quite a lot, and the extra speed will help you reach the Talia set goal...
Im pretty sure that with just ruan mei and speed boots you already get the 145 speed because as a hunt character he already has a high base speed. If you dont have ruan mei then yeah you need the lightcone or a couple of speed substat rolls

I was disappointed at his eidolons but looking at his e0 i can see why they're all bad except e1 and e6
While Boothill definitely dont need Ruan Mei to do good damage, as others mentioned in the comment section, his damage is non existent prior to breaking. And without Ruan Mei, he breaks alot slower. In a way, one can say that his dps falls off hard without Ruan Mei BUT he still gets the job done, just significantly slower.

I have guaranteed and I'm still not sure who to get between Boothill and SAM, if their banner is back to back I'm screwed, will check SAM kit/gameplay first but boothill offers a refreshment from "sword DPS"

Well those tier list judge based on the contents available in game, so right not hunt characters aren't in the position, but there is a new game mode coming in ver 2.3, after that hunt characters will get more popular
Imo, just build all 3, seele, dr ratio and boothill. They are very strong in their own way and use them as elemental type coverage

Well it's not confirmed yet, but probably a new boss from 2.2
The leak sites show it's new materials from 2.2, so can't start farming now, but likely can during the first half of 2.2
I don't got Harmony characters for boothill. So I will skip him and pull for Robin

@@ShoXpress supports don't alter gameplay though, most endgame players will want to get fresh take on battles by getting new DPS. I have had a blast playing HSR lately with Acheron around, although I know she'll be slightly outclassed by newer DPS in the future and the meta will be shifting again to new playstyles 🙂

Well I would recommend jingliu always, even though he might be the best hunt character, but he is still hunt, which not such a great path right now

He looks really easy to build and F2P, potentially more F2P than Jingliu. Jingliu might be better because she’s destruction, but boothill has really good F2P options like HTB. But Lc could be an issue since none give BE for F2P

Oh and just get the character you like more honestly, game isn't fun if u pull characters just for their kit alone. I have skipped every major support and big dps character because I don't like them but pulled Aventurine and his lc(just because I like him). Means I only got argenti,Ruan mei and Jing yuan.
I can clear everything perfectly fine and I don't struggle at all (beside the newest MOC tho)
He is only good when the energy has phy weaknesses

he applies phy weakness with his ult

So basically Tingyun and huohuo for Energy Regen to Always trigger ult for physical weakness to trigger more dmg for triggering talent....... Ok I'ma pull for him

Who's the best Hunt carry? Of course, everyone's going to glaze Boothill's boots literally. Dr. Ratio currently has the highest single-target damage if there are no mobs. Seele's single target damage is just on par or slightly higher with the likes of Jingliu, DIL, and Acheron. But if the boss summons mobs, Seele's damage evens out with Dr. Ratio.
In terms of flexibility, it's not really true that mono-quantum is the only reason why Seele is such a flexible unit. Mono-quantum makes the defense ignore from the relics set more consistent but what's really valuable is the Qua RES-PEN from her resurgence. It's a major reason why Seele's been able to consistently 0-cycle MoC since 1.0. Her damage against non-quantum weak enemies is still neutral compared to other off-element hypercarry, FUA teams, or DoT teams who suffer a bit against non-weak enemies.
Also, only her ultimate does a single big hit. Her skill and basic attack hits multiple times. I think 3x from her skill and twice from her basic.
I agree her biggest challenge is relic investment. She scales better with good relics. My build is 3.5k attack 85/164 crit ratio and I find it consistent enough to proc resurgence. Of course, the additional 12% crit rate from Fu Xuan's skill helps a lot. If you have Sparkle's signature it can also alleviate your crit rate issue.
While I recognize that not being able to get a resurgence from her skill is a substantial damage loss, it's not the end of the world. She still takes multiple actions. I'm personally more fond of pairing her with Tingyun than SW. Seele's ultimate uptime is really useful to enter resurgence as much as possible especially if you can't get it from her skill.
Overall, in my opinion, she is the better pick than Boothill. Dr. Ratio is free so you don't have to spend. She's an excellent generalist unit who works great in both MoC and Pure Fiction. She has always carried me on either side of MoC since 1.0 and now in PF.

Sparkle give Cr with her LC, fu xuan give crit rate.
See la C1 give Cr against enemy with less then 80%hp.
I admit it's a pretty premium team, but all of the unit in it have be 1- top tier unit you wanted not just because of seela, 2- pretty far from one to the other, so you had time to save for them .
I did so, and my seela hit for 180k per skill now, with 100%cr.
Btw ratio is in an even more expansive place to. It's true that he was free, but his top tier team will be with topaz, aventurine and Robin when she came out. Adventurine and Robin are going back to beck right after 3 top tier unit, and topaz was a skipped unit back when she was released because she was the only one for that team. So you have to go for 3 timed 5* in a short time.

Topaz was(and I have her from her first banner) a skip for many. Adventurine is strong, but you really need him if you have fu xuan? He is basically on par, maeby a little better (I don't believe he is better for Acheron since his only debuff is on his ultimate. I rather play fire mc or drop sustain and go full damage).
My point is that mono qua Tum you had one year to build.
But adventurine banner is right in between other.
It's better to spend 200 dollar in one year, or spend 150 dollar in 3 months?
@@n1c3tr1ck2 Mono-quantum is not a confinement team for Seele. Seele works with almost every other unit even 4-stars. There is even 0-cyle clear of Seele with Tingyun, Pela, and Lynx against Yanqing on BiliBili. Apart from her, all her teammates are 4*. She also 0-cycles Sam with only 1 other 5*-star teammate and the rest are 4*. Her Resistance penetration is what makes her strong against non-quantum weak enemies so mono-quantum is not really needed even for 0-cycle clears.
