I know I'm very, very late to this party, but this caught my eye and I just had to visit. Love the little snowmen dangles on the bottom of the netting. This might be a "next year" project for me to make. Thanks, Allie, for sharing this lovely ornament cover with us.

You could put a tree ,then the snowman then the tree all around the bottom as well. Lovely pattern and excellent tutorial!

This is so beautiful and charming. Until this moment i thought bead ornament covers were stupid. I'm making so many of these for next year. The snowmen are such a great touch

I love it when you mix seed bead brands, so many people tell you , you must never do that, lol. I wish you and your family and all your staff a great Christmas and a great and safe New Year.

Hi. I have a question. What size ball do you use? I thought, I heard you say 2.5 mm circumference. I think, I have heard that wrong?
      Thanks in advance.
      Greetings from the Netherlands.

    Hi Allie.
I like to make the ball, but I believe, I heard you say a ball of 2.5 mm circumference. That's not okay right? Can you tell me the real size of the ball? In inch or cm. That is no problem.
    Thank you in advance.
    Greetings from the Netherlands
    Jolanda.

I went to the Potomac site and could't find a notation on the holiday search. But I did order some discduos. Since I couldn't find the information on the site, I didn't order as much. Maybe next time.

So if like to practice with what I have before making any purchases. That being said I have 4in balls would I just add your 3-1 until it surrounds the opening. Then add how many combos I used to all the steps. Say I needed 2 more 3-1total 12 instead of 10 then I'd add to more steps to each round? Sorry I'm still learning

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  7 ปีที่แล้ว

Yep. You will just have to experiment with the count.

I bought the Crystal Full Labrador discduo beads from Potomac to make this. Unfortunately the silver coating was coming off the beads before I had even finished. Very disappointed.

    • @Potomacbeadco

We have Permalac to protect your beads from that. It's the nature of glass beads, the Czech coatings wear off at different rates, some in a matter of days, like the Crystal Capri Gold. You can use Permalac as often as needed. It comes in matte and semi gloss.

@@Potomacbeadco The coating on a bead shouldn't wear off in a matter of days never mind hours. Buying the Permalac as well as the beads makes them more expensive per bead than a Swarovski crystal! I won't be buying them again.
