Landscape Photography | Famous Location - Schwabacher Landing

- In this episode I photograph the famous (and very busy) Schwabacher Landing in Grand Teton National Park with the Nikon D850. I even get semi-confused in the early morning brain haze and say I’m at the Oxbow Bend, a completely different location. While I didn't come away with any portfolio-quality photos, it was beautiful nonetheless and a great morning to be outside doing landscape photography (despite the crowds).
A landscape photography vlog.

Always love waking up to a Mattheis adventure :-)
Haha, thanks!
I get that. The introvert, who doesn't mine doing a little extroverting, but then we have had enough and need to be quiet again.
I almost had my camera and tripod bumped into the water several times that morning haha. Gotta love the schwabacher scene. Nother great vid!
Ahhh the chaos of fall in the Tetons...
Well done as always.
Had the opportunity to visit the the Natural History Museum in DC today and saw your owl photo firsthand. Stunning in person as well. A well deserved award.
Thanks! Glad you got to see the exhibit, it’s great.
Beautiful video with beautiful shots....great work Steve
Thanks!
Nice one. Tour buses on that road, I applaud their dedication.
As always thanks for the Vlog Steve! That was a lot of people for the sunrise! But you got a stunning photo (The first one). That reflection of the moose on the water that you were hoping for would be a gem of an image! Well I guess the next time right!
Thanks again Steve
Yep, I’ll keep trying...
Thanks for the video. I was here last october. Stunning!
Thanks for watching
The time lapse was worth the wait. Nice. And darn moose! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Your are welcome. I love your style of landscape/nature photography. I love the vids too. You show the still version of what you wanted to capture. You also don't talk down to us. Thanks again Ted
Amazing video !!!
Thanks!
Very nice!
Thanks!
All those people there would drive me nuts. I like it when you are in the woods alone and chasing the owls and hawks. A moose or two would be cool though.
Yep, I'd rather be alone, or at least not in a crowd. But once in a while I can handle it!
Steve, what month were you there?
Thanks
Steve, which editing programme you use? I use iMovie but time lapse isn't working good, great video again
I use Final Cut Pro x
Oh that is a good software, I go to try it ( I know it's expensive but..)
How do you get those extreme Black & White Contrast Pictures?
Is this a special technique?
Greeting from Germany ;)
Sebastian
Look into Infrared. You can use a filter or have a camera converted so it senses infrared light instead of visible light.
@@SteveMattheis I'm not generally a fan of infrared photography but that last image was a cracker!
I'm working my way through your videos - I've still got 5 years to catch up on🙂
