I love the amiga it is a stunning machine from the first time I played one in a shop I wanted one, I eventually managed to find a 2nd hand 500 when I was at school a new one was a little expensive but it came with a big bundle, from that point I thought it a brilliant machine for it's time and the games & music that you can get make it even better, I had mine connected to one of those all in one hifi's which made it so much better, I used to have a few school buds also who had one so we used to get copies of games and there was also a guy who used to sell cheap floppies and game copies so to come back with our t-shirts bulging, I did used to buy some particular stuff that I wanted, a few years ago I got a 1200 which I am doing up with new case and other stuff to make it look new, my fav pinball table is nightmare the soundtrack to that I can just listen to without even playing.
You are right...in the original list it was...but it is difficult to select 50 good songs...it always leave one behind. Maybe I'll do a bonus track later. and it will be on that list...
Just LOVE your videos - still have my trusty old A500+ with a GVP Accelrator and harddrive. Can I make a request? A video with the top 'mouse-only' games - when the Amiga first came out, it was shipped WITH a mouse (unheard of at the time) and the game developers quickly grabbed the oppotunity to develop game that used the mouse instead of joystik - and over time some awesome games for just mouse had come out: 'Lost Patrol', 'SimCity', 'Cannon fodder', 'Ports of Call', 'Lemmings', 'Dune', 'Secrets of Monkey Island', 'Defender of the Crown', etc... Please, make a top-50 of 'mouse only' games.
Hi Dan, Thank you very much for your comment and for your special request :-) Your idea sounds good to me. The following 3 videos are already published (in private mode). Now I'm with the video that will be published on May 15. Well, I suppose that on May 22 or 29 I could publish your request :-) I'll try to make it 50 games...mmmm...but 25 for sure :-)
Battle Squadron was on my original list and some other very good ones... Unfortunately choosing "only" 50 songs has been very difficult... Although my original idea was to make only 2 videos. I'm seriously thinking of making a bonus track. And yes, you will hear it then...:-) But it would be later. Before I have other videos prepared and I want to show you... P.S: I hope you don't miss part II this Sunday :-)
No Wait?! I didn't even know Alien Breed 3D had music. The version I played on WinUAE Emu back in the day only featured sound effects, unless the music was featured as CD-ROM Red Book Audio or something?!
Hi, the music is from the version of Amiga CD32 Alien Breed 3D... :-) If you want to listen to the whole song: th-cam.com/video/1bCZnv6rarU/w-d-xo.html I just love it :-) P.S: In some games the sound version of the CD32 is different. In Part 2 this Sunday, you'll see the same thing happen with Speedball 2...

I know it's a niche strategy game, but Oil Imperium has a bass line that was amazing.
Remember the Lost Patrol soundtrack?
Yes... in the second part 🙂

Great video! But you left out Battle Squadron which definitely had one of the best music on the Amiga!

@@Harkonnen75 Awesome! Thanks! The music sounds like something straight out of Unreal (1998) PC. Was it made perhaps by the same composer!
Cool
very good picks ;)
Going with the ingame music of Hero Quest instead of its amazing title theme? :O
Great!!!
Hired guns, 👍
Some days the Hired Guns song plays in my head... other days the Bubble Heroes song... :-)
Earth 2140 is an PCDOS Game
And an Amiga game, same with the expansion.
Indeed, there is a version for Amiga... more info:

@@Harkonnen75 I honestly did not know that, sorry
heyy... don't worry...:-)
that's why this channel exists... to show the games and news that the Commodore Amiga has :-)
It seems it was Amiga PPC only. Therefore, after the initial death of Commodore. I don't think that's relevant.
Where is the money
Game music ≠ "Music Games".
Thank you. Luckily my English teacher doesn't see my youtube channel...
And next month I have the B1 exam... I'm not very optimistic...
