Growing up in the province of the Philippines we have the same kitchen as theirs. Living simply and happily. Nowadays many foreigners are embracing the simplicity of life in the Philippines. One day I will go home and build a hut and live a peaceful life there. Congratulations for making Turon as it should be.
I miss harvesting that banana up in the mountain, it get easily ripen if totally wrapped with plastic and with a small piece of burning limestone (apog) , but the other dessert i love is the unripe ones boiled and cooked called nilupak.
I recommend you trying "Ginanggang" same saba banana variety... Instead of frying you skewered it in bamboo sticks and grilled like barbeque then brushed it with margarine and a little sugar.. It's delicious and healthy.

tips on making banana que, no need to double fry it. Just add brown sugar in a heated oil then put the bananas until the sugar melted and coats the bananas.

Just an observation, I love the format of your Vlogs ... its got soft music background, its got a story line ... living in a country side in the Philippines and cooking mostly Filipino food ... Its totally relaxing to the viewer and i'm hooked on your style of vlogging. About two years ago, Liziqui from China started a similar theme and many TH-cam Channels followed her style ... of vlogging. Since she's long been inactive not making TH-cam videos, I think country style living vlogging will transition to your style.

Good Job! Easier way to cook a the banana Q. 1. put oil on the hot karahay/big pan. 2. heat the oil 3. after the oil is heated, put the sugar and mix it until the sugar melts/caramelize 4. add the banana 5. mix it! and your done!
