Just wanted to extend my appreciation that you included the bit about substitutions for those who can't have gluten. My mom has celiac disease and one of the hardest parts after her initial diagnosis was learning new gluten-free recipes or adapting recipes to be gluten-free. With all the gluten-free flour alternatives out there its a bit daunting to know which ones are appropriate to use in what situations. So something as simple as you giving certain substitutions your vote of confidence can give other people the confidence they need to give the recipe a shot.
It’s so hard finding good substitutions! As someone who bakes a lot, I usually use bob’s red mill 1 to 1 flour in any recipe, good texture and taste. Authentic Foods Steve's Gluten Free Cake Flour is also so yummy but it’s pricier and can be hard to find. Happy baking!
Ingredients

QT's Brownies
Ingredients
½ cup butter(unsalted)
1 tbsp oil
½ brown sugar(packed)
⅔ sugar
2 eggs
½ cup flour
½ cup cocoa powder
¼ teaspoon salt(omit if using salted butter)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 F
Melt the stick of butter
Combine melted butter, sugar, brown sugar in mixing bowl
Add eggs and olive oil and mix
Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then mix well
Pour batter into greased 8x8 or 9x9 and spread evenly
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is fully baked.

QT, thank you for adding the ways to make the recipe gluten free! I have celiac and have been cooking very regularly over the past 8 years or so, but most of the cooking content I watch is of regular recipes that I figure out how to convert to gluten free while still getting it to taste normal. You took the guess work out of this recipe though! Thank you!
