These baking streams are so cool. I love how you check in on the viewers and help them make adjustments or fix the issues. I'm gonna have to try and follow along one day.
QT, your cake turned out très bon 😊 I will say tho that most of us in the South (or at least in my city, which does celebrate Mardi Gras), we just say "king cake" 😅 And even tho the season's over: Laissez les bons temps rouler ! ⚜️
I have zero context on how QT’s livestreams work nor do I know any of the people featured, but every time the couple with ‘frog’ on their faces appear, and QT praises them while they stand there in silence, I crack UP Timestamps: 6:10 - 9:55 - 11:36 - 14:43
Thanks for this QT! Going to try and make this for me and my coworkers next Mardi Gras. Been a few years since I've had the real thing back home so this will be a fun treat!
I've never seen a king cake done like this but I think it turned out well! I personally love getting my king cakes from Randazzo's, especially with strawberry filling. So good!😊😊
Even though you could make this at any time, it's best to enjoy during Mardi Gras. Its perfect with a cup of coffee. Also its King Cake, not plural - Louisianian. ❤ I love this!
I'm from Louisiana where we eat these in the months preceding Mardi Gras and down here we call this a King Cake. Singular, no possessive, just King Cake
im a pastry chef and it is so fucking cool to have someone in this community be a baker too. like. fucking love u qt. i feel included. also i made too many kings cakes this past month i hate them now but the amount of leftover plastic babies i had made it worth it. i have made too many baby necklaces
I love watching these baking streams. Only problem is, half of QTs videos of her doing these kinds of streams are not easy to know what the video is until I watch it.
as someone who lives in a town where mardi gras is taken very seriously and my parents and grandparents are on a court, i fucking love king cake. this is the basic cake recipe but man i would love to see qt make it with pecan praline in the future bc it's the goat
Isn’t it weird that you can slap kneaded dough to tell how good it is? Like I’m very aware and can also tell by slapping dough how good it is, but I think it’s so funny that it works like that.
American cooking measurements: A cup: doesn't matter what cup size A teaspoon: which is somewhere between a pinch of salt and a bigger spoon A tablespoon: bigger than a teaspoon, or something An ounce: yeah idk, i give up, wtf is this?
So this is french gateu and ive never seen it used with cinnamon??? its usually almond. also using puff pastry but I understand puff pastry is very hard to bake with with new people.
I am from England but I moved to Louisiana 8 years ago, King Cakes are damn delicious, they make mardi gras my favourite time of year. I put on 30lb moving to Louisiana cos the food here is so good and so unhealthy lol.
@@Bibblesupremacy1992 shes literally baking something and referencing new orleans culture and mardi gras specifically, we call it king cake lol, we understand it has deeper origins lmao
Nawh look at this wholesome community just baking cakes together, love to you QT!
this is so cute, i appreciate the effort QT went through to check on everyone's progress in stream and for everyone who streamed
This is actually one of the best stream ideas I’ve ever seen! I love when you check in with the other streams to see how they’re doing
all of the EU comments were so funny, good job editor
“and one egg. EU that’s one humpty dumpty”
they made me throw up in my mouth everytime
I love how involved u get with the community. And I love that you bake! Hopefully I can catch a baking stream live soon 💕
I made this live and it was amazing! I really appreciate the baking streams.

I don’t even like baking I just like following along with qt
From South Mississippi, King Cake goes STUPID around Mardi Gras and before Lent starts. One of my favorite foods ever
SO PROUD OF QT!

I remember as a kid I’d have king cake every Friday at school a few weeks before Mardi gras-
'Fellow' implies that the person you're talking to is also from LA.. this isn't the case.
@@mikehitchcock5753 well she's kinda from LA
@@Pattonator14 She's neither from Los Angeles nor from Louisiana. She's from Washington, so she said during her first date with Ludwig.
@Mike Hitchcock woops my intention was to indicate I live in Louisiana. Thanks!
NOW THAT IS A KINGS CAKE!
I LOVE these bake alongs
I'm loving the cooking videos with you
I'm from Louisiana where we eat these in the months preceding Mardi Gras and down here we call this a King Cake. Singular, no possessive, just King Cake
Eating dessert while watching bake-alongs is my new guilty pleasure
It’s so cool how everyone can cook along with you!
I love the Louisiana king cake 🎂. Puts you in a sugar coma

When I cook chicken I like to smack it a little, and based in how jiggly or firm it is I can tell how cooked the inside is😳😳
if you get the baby, you have to buy the next king cake, we eat several throughout the season lol
FeelsBadMan for the kings cake 14:33

Dope water bottle
Is QT using that mic that's lit up? If so that's pretty crazy it picks her up across the room. Does anyone have a link to the mic?
It’s a hyper x quadcast
It is usually called a king cake not kings cake
- I live in New Orleans for 5 years
Just because you’re from New Orleans does not mean you know anything about a king cake which is originated from France and Spain
@@Bibblesupremacy1992 shes literally baking something and referencing new orleans culture and mardi gras specifically, we call it king cake lol, we understand it has deeper origins lmao

Damn QT has a lot of cute guys in her audience
the baby thumbnail was better
didnt even taste it at the end DansGame
I don't know how I feel about this RICH streamer flaunting all her dough at her viewers like this. smh my head.
I'd love to cook but I'm too shy.. could we participate with discord..?
Many people don't stream and just post their results
