    I love that you are still using all the "old-school" methods and cameras. And you actually film all of it in the most genuine and down to earth way.
    Such a good contrast to all the "modern" photography channels

      Well now that TH-cam have discontinued their 'Video Editor' I cannot even 'join clips' together let alone add all the Music and posh graphics !!

    Thoroughly enjoyed that Peter. Have you thought of doing one on chromium intensifying of thin negatives? Or maybe lith printing?

      Thanks for comment and view -- well years ago DID do Intensifying with Uranium and also Chromium method BUT I no longer have any Potassium Dichromate in my chemical cupboard. I have never tried 'Lith' printing so cannot show it -- sorry .

    Great video as always Peter. I like the darkroom magic series. There is a dearth of good printing videos on youtube and you're clearly qualified to make them. How bout one on solarization? Its something I've wanted to play with, but all I've learned so far is that it's recommended that one use old, almost exhausted, dektol and that one flashes their print halfway through an initial develop. Would love to know your take on it though.

      OK -- I HAVE tried it years ago but with not much success -- I will have to see if I can video under 'safelight' conditions to show it -- at the moment I have opened all my blackout again. Keep 'Hoping' and 'Snapping' !

      I tried opening my Canon Digital Video camera under darkroom 'safelight conditions' to see if I could video darkroom printing BUT it will not work so at the moment I cannot make any videos like that.

    This guy not using any gloves or protective clothing while handling dangerous chemicals makes me pucker up. LOL.

    I could watch you all day. Not just for your encyclopaedic knowledge, but also for the shear joy you have in doing anything related to photography.

    do you still need to fix it after?

    • @theoldfilmbloke
      @theoldfilmbloke  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      NO -- it has already been 'Fixed' in the initial processing. Just wash out the toner then dry print. Thanks for viewing
