My wife of 46 years and I are both born again old 70s metal heads ourselves and this stuff is awesome! The hymns, some Southern Gospel and most contemporary Christian music is really good but that screaming lead guitar just touches the spirit!

I have watched this for the third time in as many days since I first found this video. Each time it brings me to tears. I had my second heart attack a little over a month ago and God has brought me out with each of them to carry on. My greatest concern is making sure I do good with these chances. I am not afraid to die as I know what awaits. But I have kids and grandkids I appreciate having more time with. Thank you Lord!

I was raised Catholic. At 20, I went to a Baptist Church to learn more about the Bible, From the Bible!! But at the Baptist Church, that's where I learned all these old hymns. But, I loved rock-'n'-roll music, since I was 2 yrs old. My parents were young, & every day when my dad got home from work, he'd change into more comfortable clothes and put the radio on. We'd dance to Bobby Darin's Mac the knife!!! When I was 9, the Beatles came to the USA. We, the whole family, loved Beatle music. When I was 14 & my brother was 13, we got our Mother the Beatles White Album for her on her birthday!!! Then came along 70's & 80's music, which I love. My kids were into the 90's metal 🎶. Some of it was ok. Some of it was,"barfaroni," !!! But I like This kind of metal 🎶🎶🎶. I've been saving these songs on my phone!!! There's a group named Pillar. My favorite song of theirs is Front Line. I'm now 70. My middle name means Warrior Maiden!!! We're Soldiers of Christ!! & This style of music is Powerful!!!! & That's Encouraging!!!! 💙💜🕊️💜💙🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

I was reading down through the comments, and read the one by the guy who thinks this video/song "sucks." I would say that person needs a bit more of that amazing grace to penetrate. I have never heard any of your work before (I will though), and I really can't imagine that anyone wouldn't truly love this song, the work you put into it, and the very interesting lyrical and musical changes you made. Im not into death metal of any kind simply because if i cant hear or understand the lyrics because of all the growling , for me its not worth listening too. But you have done amazing work transforming the style of these old hymns without changing the message they deliver . I like the old style and the metal style , doesnt matter to me. I can hear all the words clearly and thats important. Its not the style but the message proclaimed that is important.
Another great song. It's a very different but respectful version of that age-old hymn. You're only the 2nd artist I've heard do a more metal version of Amazing Grace. Dan Vasc (Daniel Vasconcelos) from Brazil was the first for me & that song was what introduced me to him. Your versions are quite different from each other, but both are great, so I have 2 great options now. There's something about Dan's that gets deep into my soul. It draws you in, surprises you, rattles you a bit, then leaves you absolutely breathless by the end. I hope your version gets plenty of exposure & and I wish you every success with it. Absolutely beautiful version of this song! It reminds me of the Jesus People music of the 70s & 80s. I love the ship in the storm in the video, followed by the peaceful waters of the ship with doves. Amazing all the way through! :O

This song Amazing Grace allowed me to experience a deliverance from demonic torment for an inmate losing his mind in the cell next to me when I was wrongly arrested & processed into jail recently. The entire experience was unpleasant but God clearly wanted me there for this purpose as well as some others & some testing & affirmation of His moving. As I waited in an isolated cell to be processed to be put in a cell block I said a prayer for God to send His Holy Spirit to bring peace to the mind & heart of this man (that had been screaming, cursing, ranting, & banging his fists/head on the cell door for about an hour prior to me being placed in the cell next to his...he literally sounded like a demon was having a field day messing with him) and for Him(God) to cast out any demons tormenting this man back to the Abyss where it/they belonged. Then I immediately felt compelled to do the most cliche thing to do in a jail cell. I started humming & then singing Amazing Grace. I sang softly to medium volume but the acoustics were so awesome in that cell that the song resonated to a tone that impressed even me (& I don't typically love my own voice). Within a few minutes the man stopped screaming & calmed into quietness. I know lots of songs & lyrics but in that highly stressful situation I could only recall THIS song and only 3 verses from it (there are at least 7 verses that I am familiar with). Later a couple verses from This Little Light of Mine came to me so I sang them as well. I spoke psalm 23 (shepherd's prayer) & Matthew 6 Lord's prayer as well and continued to just hum & sing the verses I could recall for Amazing Grace for about an hour & a half until I was taken to general population. It was definitely a teaching experience from God to Trust in Him & to apply many of the Biblical foundational principles I had learned via much study; as we are HIS ambassadors and are called to Walk as Walked. We cannot behave in ways that tarnish our witness & His reputation. I do challenge the creator of this version to find all the verses of Amazing Grace & commit them to heart. You never know you may need/want to call it's power to serve God's work. Even before I Believed this song resonated with me but now that I DO Believe it hits even harder. Fyi, I was arrested on a warrant (Urgent: Hold, Will Extradite) out of San Francisco due to my identity being stolen.

Before my husband breathed his last breath, he specifically requested Amazing Grace be sung @ his memorial service, obviously not your version but because you used the ship in the seas, your version resonates with me because my husband was a Sailor in the US Navy 🇺🇸⚓️ I'm trying not to cry but I thank you for doing your version of Amazing Grace 🚢⚓️

This song Amazing Grace allowed me to experience a deliverance from demonic torment for an inmate losing his mind in the cell next to me when I was wrongly arrested & processed into jail recently.
The entire experience was unpleasant but God clearly wanted me there for this purpose as well as some others & some testing & affirmation of His moving.
As I waited in an isolated cell to be processed to be put in a cell block I said a prayer for God to send His Holy Spirit to bring peace to the mind & heart of this man (that had been screaming, cursing, ranting, & banging his fists/head on the cell door for about an hour prior to me being placed in the cell next to his...he literally sounded like a demon was having a field day messing with him)
and for Him(God) to cast out any demons tormenting this man back to the Abyss where it/they belonged.
Then I immediately felt compelled to do the most cliche thing to do in a jail cell. I started humming & then singing Amazing Grace. I sang softly to medium volume but the acoustics were so awesome in that cell that the song resonated to a tone that impressed even me (& I don't typically love my own voice).
Within a few minutes the man stopped screaming & calmed into quietness.
I know lots of songs & lyrics but in that highly stressful situation I could only recall THIS song and only 3 verses from it (there are at least 7 verses that I am familiar with).
Later a couple verses from This Little Light of Mine came to me so I sang them as well.
I spoke psalm 23 (shepherd's prayer) & Matthew 6 Lord's prayer as well and continued to just hum & sing the verses I could recall for Amazing Grace for about an hour & a half until I was taken to general population.
It was definitely a teaching experience from God to Trust in Him & to apply many of the Biblical foundational principles I had learned via much study; as we are HIS ambassadors and are called to Walk as Walked.
We cannot behave in ways that tarnish our witness & His reputation.
I do challenge the creator of this version to find all the verses of Amazing Grace & commit them to heart. You never know you may need/want to call it's power to serve God's work. Even before I Believed this song resonated with me but now that I DO Believe it hits even harder.
Fyi, I was arrested on a warrant (Urgent: Hold, Will Extradite) out of San Francisco due to my identity being stolen.
