Do you see the curvature of the edge of the field? That indicates a wide-angle lens, which will give the illusion of things moving much faster than they really are.

This is very cool, it's been a dream of mine to have a quadcopter that can fly in front of my car and scan the road ahead and this little thing is one step closer to seeing that happen.
Whats funny is come next week, ill have my 30A ESCs for a 250-size frame... and it too, is 2000kv 18-22A draw, 6x4.5, 4S 1800 75C, setup. Little bit different motors, but they look the same physical size. Now I'm just more excited for the arrival of my new ESCs to support the amps. XD

He's flying line of sight, and carrying a mobius would effect flight performance. Every gram matters on these things, most of the guys flying these high performance acro Los quads don't fly with cams cause the video is not as compelling as you'd think and they want every little bit of performance possible. For really compelling high speed fpv videos check out the TH-cam channels of charpu or metaldanny. For an idea of what a camera on a high speed acro quad looks like I believe finalglideaus has a video of an LOS acro quad with a cam on it.

Imagine that thing swooping down, shooting out a 2 foot plastic blade, slicing your dome piece off and swooping away, all within a quarter of a second. This is the stuff of nightmares.

Do you believe that you can (after some modifications) sustain that level of maneuvering and speed/acceleration with an attached Gopro? I mean, it would be the definitive way to film backcountry snowboarding, surf, motocross and pretty much any extreme sport (maybe even Wingsuit flying one day!).
I wonder if he is using Headfree sometimes called Carefree flight mode? That way the Quad's orientation does not change, in forward it's forward control no matter if it's coming at you or going away. The same with right and left banking. I have no idea how he can keep orientation unless he is so fast he is flying by movement only and can correct that quickly. I am surly implessed.
