This is the BEST tutorial I have ever seen. Clear concise instructions up close all the way thru. Great job! You are a super teacher. I am not a crocheter but with these instructions I became one. Thanks.
I started crocheting after watching this video, absolute beginner. This video was super easy to follow. My tea cosy turned out perfect! So happy with the results. I did mine in blue and beige minus the pompom. I’m so glad for tutorials like this on youtube. Thanks @bellacoco
Thank you for yet another easy to follow tutorial. I made one for my sister and am now making myself one! Being a leftie and fairly new to crocheting I have to try and reverse your instructions but with a few tears and a bit of determination I cracked it!!! I really do enjoy following your videos! Thank you!
@@bellacococrochet I found them, thank you. I was just keen on having a go at the teapot cosie for a bit of a challenge. I started crochet with your left handed baby blanket and granny square. I look forward to learning how to make other projects with you too 😊
Thanks Sarah-Jayne, this is my go to tea-pot cosy pattern. I have made it several times and your easy, clear instructions have made me the new hero of the day! Thank you for such an easy, beautiful pattern. I love all your video’s because you explain everything in full detail. 👍💕😊
Brilliant. I am new to this craft and just completed the tea cosy. Yahooooo i am so pleased with my finished article. Thank you so much for the very clear step by step instructions. Kept me busy during the lock down and now my uni daughter has a tea cosy to keep her tea warm while she studies.
I started one last night, my first tea cozy ever, and it’s is beautiful... thank you so much, may God bless you... I am soo exited, I wish I could share a photo. X
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this tutorial, I found your instructions so clear and easy to follow. I made my tea cosy to cover a teapot my husband gave me for Christmas!
This is so weird, it is 3-1-2020, i just found this Tutorial for a teapot cozy. I have been a subscriber of yours for a while, I love your videos. It’s weird because I was notified that I, had a notification that Love Crafts just posted a video, and guess who their guest was, it was you. You are an amazing young lady. Thank you so much Bella, this is by far the best pattern/tutorial i've come across for these & I searched high and low. Thanks again, you're incredibly talented! x
Thank you so much!! I LOVE the tea cosy and your happy, friendly and easy to follow tutorial. It's the best feeling making something !! Without the internet & Instagram I wouldn't have had a chance of learning how to crochet. Totally hooked and becoming a yarn freak !!
Your tutorials are great sarah-jayne. I'm a beginner and was able to follow along with your tutorial (with a lot of pauses and rewinds but I got it and now have a tea cozy (without the pompom) that part didn't work out but the rest did. Thanks again and happy hooking.

Thanks so much Bella Coco - when my daughter asked me to crochet her friend a tea cosy I of course said yes (coz i love to crochet!) but had no idea where to start ... your video was brilliantly easy to follow and I've had lots of fun customising mine.
Bella Coco. I wanted to say thank you thank you so much for posting a tutorial that can be so easily followed ♡♡♡♡♡ thank you for sharing so much joy :-) much love joy and happiness in return to you so glad I found this tutorial

Great tutorial. I've just finished mine (tagged you on Instagram). Mine was very tight to button up over the Tesco teapot. I must crochet tightly. Only been crocheting a month so I'm pleased with it :)
@@bellacococrochet hello, just done my first four rounds but it isnot big enough to reach the handle. Furhermore there isn't any hole for the lid. What can I do now?
SJ I absolutely love your tutorials and I can't thank you enough for teaching me to crochet. Your tutorials are easy to comprehend and your styling of products really tickles my pickle. I have one request, could you please reiterate or maybe keep captions up of what round your working on? When I lose my spot, I have no idea where on the TH-cam clip I've lost track. Thanks so much 😚
This is beautiful. I've actually made some tea cozies before a long time ago but mine were knitted. I haven't made them in so long but I would like to try and make one again.
🙂 you are such a great teacher! Since my first sample squares I have improved so much! Your cosy looks bigger and sloppier than mine, but I'm so proud of my creation! Thank you 💕 (if you could adapt it to make a Christmas pudding it would be great ....)
Thank you for a very pretty tea cosy. I did get a bit fed up with all the stopping and starting with lots of ends to weave in though and wonder if there is an easier method with just open side seams that could be sewn up but allowing space for spout & handle. As always your videos are lovely and clear and easy to follow.
Lovely tutorial - great fun and very clear. I like your presentation style Bella Coco. Had the same problem as @SIOBHAN DELANEY (below) in the spout row - had to go back and do 8 instead of 7 clusters, so I ended up with 9 instead of 10 which would have made it skewiff! Looking good now. :-)
I am also having this issue on row 6 it's you say in the video that after 7 clusters in cluster 8 is when we begin to do the double clusters. So I have seven clusters and then the two doubles and then 10 on the other side you stated that it should have 9 on One and 8 on the other. What am I doing wrong?
I finished my cosy, but it looks awful on my brown Betty which is tall rather than round. The uneven puff count is really noticeable around the handle. Also the constant cutting and re-threading was cumbersome not only that but the many weaving of threads into the project was a huge turn off. That said, your tutorial was clear and easy to follow, great close ups of the hook to show how to do the stitches, and I loved the 'pause' labels to keep me from getting lost. Great video. I need a new teapot now.
This is so adorable. the link to the teapot doesn't seem to work. can you give an approximate size (height and circumference of fattest part) of your teapot? I want to make sure this will fit one of mine to determine whether I need to adjust the size. thanks!
This looks brilliant! I take it that you use one of spaces as a button hole loop to do the cosy up at the bottom? Thanks for sharing Sarah-Jayne; I'm looking forward to making this as a gift for a friend!
Thank you for posting this to accompany the pattern. I a an absolute beginner, the stiches are okay it's keeping up with the pattern I'm struggling with. I'm going to post a pic of mine as I've gone wrong somewhere around round 7 and I can''t work out what to do next. Would it be possible to add which round it's on in the notes that come up please as I'm finding it hard to keep track and can't see all of yours at once to count them? Thanks
So cute! Great tutorial! Is there some reason slip-stitching across areas to “start” new stitches in other places wouldn’t work? I’ve never seen the cut-yarn-restart method you’ve used, but it seems simple enough. I just hate weaving in ends 😉
Thank you 😊 It's just personal preference; I find that a lot of slip stitches creates a 'line' that can be noticeable. If you want to avoid having so many ends to weave in there's no reason why you can't use that method though.
hi there, love this little cosy. I need to do one for a bigger pot, 4 inches rounder and taller, how would I increase the size, do I just repeat a row until it's big enough.
Thank you, I'm glad you like it 😊 To increase the size I would increase your hook size and/or use thicker yarn. This way there's no need to adjust the pattern.
This was a fun project, but somewhere along the line I got lost. I was able to close off one end, but not the other end. I paused video to tuck in the loose ends, and then the pom pom instructions came in next. Do I use the same instructions to close off both openings? Thanks!
Hi Bella. I love your tutorials and would love to make the teapot cozy. I only have a small one person teapot. Any chance you could let me know how I adapt the amount and size of the rounds? Thanking you in advance. X

Love this pattern but any chance of a left handed version?

I made this and personally found it a little off set once on my tea pot - maybe due to the fact one side has more clusters than the other.
Nicola Herbert same has just happened to me so I’ve ripped it all out and going to look for a new pattern now
Definitely off set ripped it out and tried twice and still not right. It says 9 clusters when it's 10. I have gone over it 3 times and still wrong.
