What magnificent country Josh….you certainly had to work for your fish. Tough start but hey, we have all waded to retrieve our favourite snagged lure. I have to agree with HHype Gaming regarding your camera work. You certainly put a lot into your productions for your subscribers enjoyment. Looking forward to your next video.
your content just keeps getting better and better as far as cinematography goes you've grown so much. Keep doin what ya do there's noway you won't go anywhere👍🏼🙂
I like how you show your less than perfect casts and don't try to portray yourself as this perfect gun fisherman than never misses.... it makes your content more relatable to hacks like me 🙃
Great to see you're still willing to do the hard yards to chase the bite. 2 fish is better than no fish. Keep the videos coming, and don't forget you can always do a catch and cook if your running out of ideas 😃🤙🏼🎣🌮
Lovely place to fish and can't beat those surface hits ❤️. Used to use those Tiemcos a lot but found that the tow point on many on them was off centre so they pulled to the side.
Hey josh love the vids brother, i have a question what species will take a Sugapen 70mm. I’ve seen from your vids that yellow fin whiting take it what about other types of whiting and other flats species?
Went bass fishing last weekend got a pb going 45 on a Z man finesse frog and got a couple more high 30s but missed a 55+ that smashed it twice and saw the fish in the snag it got me in but pulled hooks while getting it out still my favourite type of fishjng for sure
hey josh could you make another video about all your tackle, would be interesting to see all your new lures for off the rocks and anything new you've bought
Hi josh I have been thinking about getting holt prawns from the website and I was thinking what your favourite size and colour for the artificial prawn
Hey mate, I basically have your exact same set up except for baitcaster rod. Looking to step up from the TD Zero paired with the Zillion, what do you use? Love ya channel, good work fella
Nicest country hey, I love my aussie bass fishing up the Sunny Coast :-) Ive never really twitched the cicadas hey, i just wind n pause, and change the rate etc works a treat either way really 👌
Yo josh been watching for a while now. I started TH-cam myself and looking on how to edit better, like the music at start of vid/intro and where is a good place to get the sounds
Have you ever tryed using your left hand to wind its much better so u dont have to constantly switch hands and also you have your strongest hand on the rod aswell. Great vid!!!!
Hey Josh, you should give the Brisbane’s river a go, the bass fishing there is really good I landed 7 bass in about 1 hour of fishing there Keep up the good work.🎣
Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit th-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
Just before you said fresh water ain’t for you! I was thinking I’m gonna comment and say this is a great little change and hella yeah bro hahaha it takes precision casting.
I love creek fishing. I prefer snag fishing over anything. It’s just in that situation a bait caster setup over a spin setup is better. More accurate and more control over your lure
Let it sit on the water for a good 7 or so seconds. Then a slow twitchy retrieve with some pauses. Followed up by a bit of a slow roll and let the lure walk the surface. Then just keep mixing it up. A few twitches and pauses. Fast burns, slow burns and pauses. Just mix things up!
I’m from America and I need to know where to find these I need a green and a black for my area in South Carolina. I can’t find them anywhere on the Internet please help.
There has to be other species around there like spangled perch and catfish. You should try a bait session with worms to temp something else that might be around there
You should go for a Jew fishing video at night, I recommend the 6 inch zman swimmerz if there’s a lot of mullet around or a 5 inch scented jerkshad in pearl for some bigger soapies
With surface, go as slow as you can without losing the action of the lure. The longer you can keep it being a nuisance close to that bank edge, the better your odds of them coming out for it
Great video man! Long time supporter of the channel, and have recently been doing some freshwater fishing of myself. Looking to grow my channel and I am looking for some feedback on some of the newer videos I have uploaded recently. If you can do this it would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the great work mate excited for the content in 2023 🔥🎣!!
2 fish is better than a big ole donut. Nice little creek. I think the liter spin rod with 10lb leader definitely takes a bit of getting use to casting in tight areas.

From Tuna to Tree trunks. Variety of hook ups are amazing. Onya Josh ! Love it

Hey mate loving the videos, where in Australia are you fishing?
the upstream bass videos are my favorite!! i go creek bass fishing out at the clyde river and the tuross rive up near wadbilliga and shallow crossing
The first 6 minutes of your video is pretty much my fishing experience every time. Glad you got some & Great video.

Hi Josh well done on the video and great camera work at the beginning.Love your channel
Loving the grind Josh! Would love to see a Murray cod trip in the future!
So crazy how different the bass look from the ones here in the US. Love the vids, keep it up
Quite different but both very aggressive!
Yeah mate the ones here are actually a species of perch, so not related at all.
@@lachlanreade4344 that explains it. Looks like so much fun. One day I’ll go fishing down there.
Been using those Tiemco soft shell cicada lures for a couple years now, they're bloody brilliant on our small natives 👌
this just made my arvo 100 times better :D love the footage
🙌🏼
Lovely place to fish and can't beat those surface hits ❤️. Used to use those Tiemcos a lot but found that the tow point on many on them was off centre so they pulled to the side.

Coming soon. It’s just a pain to film as we have been having really nice days and I don’t want to waste them inside.
@@joshdfishing yeah totally understandable

Hey mate, I basically have your exact same set up except for baitcaster rod. Looking to step up from the TD Zero paired with the Zillion, what do you use? Love ya channel, good work fella
that was a sick vid! what camera and lens combo do you use for the fish shots?
Great Video josh. Just wondering what that last lure you were chucking around was?
Hey josh how do you find your fishing spots, I live in a new area and can't change me across any spots to fish
the things i would do to be able to go to that creek system
Nicest country hey, I love my aussie bass fishing up the Sunny Coast :-) Ive never really twitched the cicadas hey, i just wind n pause, and change the rate etc works a treat either way really 👌
try it on an overhanging bank in the summertime (in a saltwater estuary). Amazing bream lure
Yo josh been watching for a while now. I started TH-cam myself and looking on how to edit better, like the music at start of vid/intro and where is a good place to get the sounds
Great episode and edit.
Another amazing Aussie fishing!
Hi, just watched your vid catching salmon with the white lure, any chance I can find out where that was ?
Gotta love a few bass 👌🤙
love your vids josh!
This kind of fishing is what I built a 25" and then a 39" rod for. 1" diameter Tennessee grip- a Shimano fx2000 lashed on and #8 Platypus Super-100. 👌
were do you get you rod and reel and what is it
Have you ever tryed using your left hand to wind its much better so u dont have to constantly switch hands and also you have your strongest hand on the rod aswell. Great vid!!!!

Whwre are you Josh? The cicadas are not out down here in east Gippsland. They only come out once every 7 years or so.
love your vids as always what SHOES you running
Thanks man. I’ve recently got some simms light weight wading boots. Pricy but so so worth it
What was the name of the last lure you were using at the end?
Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit th-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. Those snags give me nightmares, great to watch instead of getting snagged every second cast!
Just before you said fresh water ain’t for you! I was thinking I’m gonna comment and say this is a great little change and hella yeah bro hahaha it takes precision casting.

Hey mate, is there gonna be a 2023 gear vid and if so when
Hey mate where abouts in nsw do you fish
I actually have one of those cicada lures. Never used it though.
hey josh can you tell me the difference between Aussie bass and ep because I have cushy one or the other and don't know what it is
Give it a search on google. Once you notice you can spot them super easily
We call that a white perch here in Maryland
I just uploaded getting a topwater boof of a perch on a kids combo with a cicada! Love em
Chatterbaits are wayyyy better then spinner baits in my opinion. Smaller target to eat, vibration, spinnerbaits suck 🤣 nice Lil vid Joshy! 👌
Yes joshie ❤
Where is that creek
just picked up a cicada topwater lure for bass. not sure how to use it. any tips?
Let it sit on the water for a good 7 or so seconds. Then a slow twitchy retrieve with some pauses. Followed up by a bit of a slow roll and let the lure walk the surface.
Then just keep mixing it up.
A few twitches and pauses.
Fast burns, slow burns and pauses.

@@joshdfishing thanks for the tips really appreciate it.

Nice video mate, well done! Baitcast gear is much better for bass creek fishing imo.
There has to be other species around there like spangled perch and catfish. You should try a bait session with worms to temp something else that might be around there
No spangles down there, Josh is too far South
Is this in Victoria or Sydney and stuff
South coast NSW
Will you pls do a decanted video to fly fishing
I’m not sure if that lure is a hardbody or not but I always choose the hardbodys as they make more noise on the surface. Great video by the way 🤙
It is hardbody mate
Yeah first in first like, been waiting for this notification bro 🙏🏽🤙🏽
You should go for a Jew fishing video at night, I recommend the 6 inch zman swimmerz if there’s a lot of mullet around or a 5 inch scented jerkshad in pearl for some bigger soapies
man i need to practice more

Josh mate tru downsize spinnerbaits they work it’s just a bit big
Oi come fishing Narrabeen lagoon big dogs
josh you need to use frogs so much easier/better you can roll them over logs and they get smashed
They are so effective! Need to use them more tbh
Hey it’s me the ice bucket kid I’m sorry I didn’t on time I couldn’t because had to have surgery I’m doing it this weekend tho sorry again josh
Am I able to send you fan mail
