I agree. Property developers are ripping people off, for the sake of owning 1 bed leasehold flat. The open plan living area is too small. Do not see it as value for money.

Cute apartment... but not worth £499,999
Bedroom is a decent size but the living room really lets this place down. It's so small and there's no space for a desk. No one wants a seat in the bedroom. It's a pretty bad habit to get into when you don't have to.
its all about supply and demand.. as long as there is a demand and people are willing to pay any extent for these shoe boxes the prices will only go up
I read the comments before I watched the video and I thought the same ‘half a mil for a 1 bed in woolwich is ridiculous’. However, now that I have seen the apartment with all its fixtures and fittings and what the residents have access to, I think it’s worth the price.

My apartment is 2 klm from the beach, I can see the bay and I’m 8 klm from the CBD with 2 bedrooms (one can fit a king size bed and the other a double), built in robes in both, 2 bathrooms, a car park and it’s the equivalent of £350,000. Tram and a train station 10 minutes walk. Mind you it is in Melbourne, Australia. Location is such a rip off. Sorry love the city as it’s my birthplace but it’s property prices for value is cr*p.

Joke of flats all over the development. Who the hell came up with open plan living. Basically your living room is IN your kitchen. Should call these hobbit holes. I can't belive the council planning departments let them get away with building these toy homes.
