Oh man, I can smell it just by watching your video😅-especially when you disassembled the engine🙏🏻 my teenage memories came back! I couldnt count how often i destroyed the pullstarter string and replaced it with a shoelace of my fathers shoes😂👌🏻once i‘ve replaced the connectingrod in the engine, bc it was cracked on the bearingside. My plastic brakedisc also broke down, so i builded a new one from a piece of sheetmetal- i was young and had no money for such a hobby like this, but i was very skilled and interested in mechanic work for my age. Later i became a car-technican😊 I was 14 years old when i bought mine after saving hard my pocket money and mowed instantly our lawn to get some extra coin. Now I‘m 32 years old. Last week i digged it out of a shelf in the garage and decided to bring it back to life! I ordered some stuff on amazon like a new controller, a nitro starter kit and some fuel. Cant wait to start my pure ten alpha 2 again. Btw: nice work mate😊
I got mine out during lockdown early '21, and it started up first time after about 15yrs of living in a bag and moving around from house to house with me 😅
Hi, i have same model like you, but i want to convert it to brushless, is it possible? My spur gear also need replacement, but im looking for metal spurs, any idea which model does fit to this model?
Hi, Am sure it would be possible, Kyosho did do an electric version of this model. What I found when rebuilding this is parts are very hard to find even more so are upgrade parts. i'd try your local model shop, my hard a box of old parts from back in the day when these was a popular choice . Finding a metal spar gear to fit would be trail and error matching one up unfortunately i don't know of any off hand that would fit. Hope this helps!
Hi, I don't know of any one site i can recommend, I found most of the parts by searching the part number on google, ebay etc. I also found my logo gobby shop had a lot of parts for this model as apparently it use to be popular back when they where new.

Hi, I would try a spray of Wd40 down the glow plug hole to help lubricate the cylinder. Also you could try starting the engine with the glow plug loosened off then tighten once you've got the engine started. Hope this helps!
@@conceptBuilds Thank you very much! but can the engine even start with the glow plug loosened very much? because i need to loosen it very much, like almost taking it out of the engine
@@furkanfpv677Your Welcome! Sounds like there may be an issue other than a tight engine causing the pull start to be stiff. You should only need to loosen the glow plug by a few turns from my past experiences with this issue. I would say give it a go with the plug as loose as you need it for the pull starter to become not stiff. Your more than welcome to send a video of what's happing and causing the issue and ill do my best to help.
@@conceptBuilds Hi! the guy fixed it, it was the the needle or something ( english is not my first language) the engine didn't get enough fuel, i already thought it would be that, but was scared to mess with the engine, but i want to thank you very much for your help!

Hi, I honestly could't tell you, but from what I know I believe the faker was a high end model so possibly not.

i have found the spur gear on used geaar / second hand pages, it was still on box so i can call it "brand new". It will be hard to find.

The startler cords don't last long but there are plenty available online cheep to get you up and running again.
