This bankai reveal caught me completely off guard and especially how powerful it was.
I would say her bankai is 2nd strongest in the series behind ichibe right now .

Shutara going all out was both a surprise and quite the badass treat. She showed her skills and prowess while making the battle of the palace all the more epic. It's a shame external issues forced Kubo to cut things short in the manga but here it's been fixed and then some.
This just proves how rushed tybw arc manga, Kubo probably had many plans for it but it was so rushed

With Shutara bankai revealed Its confirm the statement where "Squad zero is more powerful than the Gotei 13". The anime fix what Kubo want to do in the manga but couldn't. 10/10 for both episode.

Someone commented that their tapestry designs/fates were their actual fates that happened in the manga. (It was a mightly lengthy but good comment from the reviewer).
About Pernida’s part:
The name “Kurotsuchi” can mean “Black Soil” if written in a certain way, which is what sealed Pernida here.
Add to that Senjumaru says “pulled by these hands” while Pernida is being pulled in those grains of black soil, probably a reference to “baby hold your hand”
if you notice all the elite's deaths were similar to how they go out offically later on and their counters x axis shoots himself you can freeze gerad to get around his powers askin requires a physical attack not substance based and you explain peridna
@@sparknazoYep yep, there are still some small details like how Senjumaru says to Lillie “he gazes at his own power” possibly a reference to the blinding effect Nanao’s sword had on his eyes after he saw the reflection, plus the eyes that emerged from the mirror had marks of X and a crosshair on them..
It’s these subtle things that make me love Kubo’s work
@@no..2756it's a reference to the blades literal ability to reflect the soul kings/divine reshi. Shinken Hakkyōken- "Divine Eight Mirror Sword". So him dying by his own power while gazing at his reflection in literal mirrors was magnificent foreshadowing indeed.

Some reason I think the deaths are deeper than that, like Jugram and fire.
Honestly it does make sense that they're able to pull it off in the Soul Palace.. it's literally the rock that keeps all worlds together, but also separated from each other from a time when they were once one.. so it indeed has the strength to endure such a feat of power, especially with the buffs you mentioned.
Excellent video, this Bankai reveal was nothing short of amazing.
It has anything to do with the balance of the world, her multiversal feat was gonna happen regardless of where she used her bankai.

I’m pretty sure the way Senjumaru drove their fates is hinting that she necessarily didn’t needed to kill them in cour 2 but by wedding up their fates by her wovens, she’s basically implied in the anime that their destinies will made by their own mistakes, basically she had cursed ever since they felt under her powerful bankai, she had already won the moment she their fates up which would show up in cour 3 agaisnt the gotei strongest captains, as well as Jugram fate agaisnt Uyru & the flames imply the impact Bazz B will have on Haschwalth before facing Uyru, that doesn’t mean changes will occur on each Schutzstaffel death such as Jugram & Gerald, hopefully we get Bazz & Uryu vs Jugram

I agree. I believe she cursed them. But not specifically just them, but cursed their fates which is why long after she’s been defeated they still perish in the same ways as her bankai had woven. It’s blood chilling if you think about it.

Shutara's Bankai is Like a hybrid of Kisuke's, Mayuri's, and Kyoraku's. It's customizable, it fits, and it's theathrical.
I saw it more like the ancestor bankai to Senbonzakura, as if it's an aspect of that she cast off
And still weaker than Yama

Yammamoto bankai is the sun. Not even 100 suns could shake the Multiverse. Also he use all his power to beat 1 random quincy she tuck out all yhwach strongest. If you really think roy could beat all yhwach royal gaurds.

Her Bankai reminds me of the sisters of fate from Greek mythology. A lot of modern iterations of them depict them as seamstresses using looms to weave the fate of man.
Her Bankai loom must deal with fate manipulation, which is OP as hell. Also Ichibei Bankai release doesn't have the same effect because it predates back to the original world, he doesn't materialize his inner world or spirit like the other Shinigami since he never became one through training, he was created as a natural part of the world.
It honestly was a dumb addition, since we know zero squad is far weaker than: ichigo, zaraki, adult toshi, byakuya and kisuke.

I love that to keep the fabric of reality from splitting the four zero squad nembers put a condition on themselves. I think ouetsu choose sen because really ouetsu could have an infinite selection. The blade he choose is in complete. Her bankai was more suited not just in numbers but also the way she shut them all down.
I honestly felt that was kinda counterproductive except if the other members can be revived. I mean, so 3/5 of the squad zero have to be killed in order one of then activate their bankai? What if one of their Bankais is a supportive -type? Would love to see every single one of them be unleashed, but hey, not gonna complain, the episode was SICK.

After reading the manga years ago, I was under the impression that this fight was gonna be boring and not last long but holy shit, that Bankai reveal was fucking deadly. DAfter all these years the zero division has finally redeemed themselves! 😭🙏🏾

As a newer Bleach fan and someone who didnt read the manga for this arc (Read to everything up to the start of TYBW so that I could watch the anime fresh), I'm amazed at the unique anime only moments and how much Kubo is able to do with health, time and the ability to cook
Put some respect on Zero Squads name, we finally got to see what they are truly capable of, and it is insane.
No, they killed themselves and showed a hax Bankai.
Not worth the hype.
Mostly feels like an *sspull, especially the "we so strong we must seal ourselves" considering later combatants scale higher and the three realms are fine.
Edit: New theory: Everything from the suicide-pact to now has been another woven Illusion, the "we make the worlds rumble at the slightest use of our powers" is Shutara spouting cap to scare the Schutzstaffel, meanwhile Tenjiro is patching the Rest of the Squad up and getting ready for Round 2.
Schutzstaffel remains in Trance while Uryu and Haschwalth get serious, continuing the real fight with Squad 0.

It is just a guess, but we can even think that this Bankai is the reason that causes them to be defeated in the future, like a curse, since it affects "the fabric of reality".

Im not going to lie this is what I always though aizen bankai would be.
I think of it as "Sewing" their fate or something, and she have 1000 fate prepared..

@@gabnel1000 pernida did but it didn't help. Liloto did but it killed him. Askin couldn't only works on people. Gerrard couldn't his power work from damage and there was none just being frozen. Jugram need couple of seconds to use his he need to summon them scales he didn't have time. That leave only uryu and from the trailer it will be him to beat her. And anyone who knows the manga knows uryu can save his fellow quincy and that would be a good way to get them all to trust him and respect his power.

I really hope her banksi is fate manipulation that cant be tempered with once it goes off. She basically guarantees their deaths eventually and what we see is just a preview of it. No way its just an illusion too since it literally shakes the three realms and she was most likely altering reality at a high level.

I see it,Senjumaru killed the Balancer for Yhwach, Giving Yhwach his full abilities yet the curse of his eyes opening was still there... he died that same day he opened them as predicted
Uryu in cour 3 by the trailer scene, is probably gonna have the Greatest comeback in bleach history against Bankai senjumaru. Which will also show why uryu is the rightful successor of yhwach and why uryu and jugram are rightfully above the elite sternritter.
it makes me wonder if jugram actually died to the bath guy or if he was just letting him win cause he knew yuha would help eventually. If he actually lost, then SPOILERS:
then losing the shield actually makes him vulnerable and uryu vs jugram in the future might be a lot more interesting than just them using uno reverse card repeatedly.

I really want to see that happen. Uryu who zero squad mustve first thought was the weaker one since he hasn’t shown much yet, making a terrifying comeback. Could Kubo make him kill Senjumaru? I don’t think so because even after the war is over would his help in defeating YH make up for that…

Nice analysis, I agree with you, I didn't notice that Senjumaru adaptability was already portend during the battle. I'm really glad for theese change. Ichibei still the the real strongest Shinigami, Yamamoto couldn't deal against Yhwach's power like power's steal, only a wizard like Ichibei can surpass that XD.
We can see that the most broken power in Bleach aren't destructive's one (except Kenpachi), but power who trick you by force (Kyoka suigetsu, Ichimonji, Senjumaru bankai, Kyoraku bankai, Schrift of Schustaffel, ...) .
Yamamoto bankai is just really deadly but hadn't some tricky power , Yamamoto is precisely vulnerable to this type of power because he has no means of defense (as shown by the way he died)
It seems you still underestimating yamamoto's bankai because of the way he died. The only weakness to yamaji's bankai is its own power that is if left on for so long and another is his anger and ignorance thinking he can beat yhwach with only one arm. We all know thtlat reiatsu is release from your arms hence yamajii constantly losing spiritual power due to the loss of his arm. So basically yamaji wasn't 100% when he entered that fight which shows his ignorance and him underestimating the enemy, that's why he lost
Not because his zanpakutou is not strong or whatsoever. In my opinion yamajis bankai has the perfect defences and offences. Even is ultimate defnce is also an oofence(zanka no tachi west). Imagine if he had also released his bankai in the soul palace, I bet that'll be scary as hell

Lille is the best example.
He doesn't shoot projectiles, it's just that anything between point A and point B basically ceases to exist.
Or ichibei being the old bleach rule of "names/words hold power"(if you don't know the name of your sword it's not as strong etc)

Interesting Bankai. I believe Uryy Anthisesis power will be the key to 'reverse' the situation and beat this bankai. He can make Senjumaru be the actual victim of her own bankai instead of him.

yama's main threat was his bankai ability to erase something from existence. the flames don't just burn you just get erased. Meaning there is no future because you no longer exist. Which negates his almighty to an extent. If you dont exist then there is no timeline in which you come out of the attack or live through it you cease existing.

The redemption of the zero squad. Senjumaru is the real MVP, very effective against many opponents and a great balance of offense and defense plus support.
Uryu will kill her. They slighty spoiled it in the trailer too the third cour. Where Uryu was freed from his area and was about to shoot at her. You don't see her but you can tell it had to be her.
Yeah, pretty much. Unless there's major retcon, they're gonna follow the manga, which means that the Schutzstaffel will be back. And honestly the most honorable way of making Zero Squad lose, would be for Kirinji, Oetsu, and Hikifune to remain dead from their sacrifice play. Leaving Senjumaru (post activating her likely exhaustive bankai) to solo the revived Schutzstaffel (and empowered since I think Almighty is gonna come into play - adding to why she loses) or Yhwach, or both.
In my opinion, this is the best move forward, since it keeps the honor/buildup/hype of the Zero Squad being powerful but losing to Quincy broken hacks because she was alone. Either Ichibe is killed before saying their names, or even Senjumaru isn't given time/is too overwhelmed to revive them.
Only two things would make sense of her defeat, either Ywach uses the Almighty or...even better, Uryu uses the Antithesis
@@TheDucky101 both are probably gonna come into play, hence why it wasn't mentioned and even downplayed before. Even tho it's pretty obvious that Uryu teleported Yhwach out of the cage with his schrift.
Almighty is probably the one that's gonna break them out of those tapestries, and boost them up to their penultimate forms. Just shy of broken magic-chicken, Lille. But enough to overwhelm the lone Senjumaru. And I maintain that her bankai will take a lot out of her, adding to why she loses.
I assume you're a manga reader, but [ *SPOILER ALERT* ] anyways... they're probably gonna shift Ichibe's defeat to the beginning of cour 3, preventing him from reviving the other 3, and then letting Yhwach descend on Senjumaru.
This was such a beautiful episode to watch
in the manga, the Bankai part was not thought of yet. So it wasn't rushed, but more like not flushed out yet at the time

Royal palace seems give an unimaginable buffs to its resident. Just think how much powerful byakuya rukia and renji has become

I think they could be foreshadowing what occurs in the future, and how they get defeated, specially with Gerard I think they could change that battle just a little and have adult Toshiro play a bigger role

It eas clear kubo was sick when finishing the tybw and it's sad people give him grief about it. It's clear from the anime that he had other plans, sometimes life gets in the way though.
If the theories about weaving fate are true, this is the kind of thing we expected from a Zero Division bankai. A zanpakutou that protects the Soul King with abilities he presumably granted, with which can work in ways that transcend what regular shinigami are capable of in order to affect or interact with things like concepts, the past, or the future.
her bankai is so pretty and elaborate, definitely surpassed my expectation of a zero squad bankai!

I know gege akutami took inspiration from bleach, but this is definitely how kubo likes to create domain expansion to the use of senjumaru bankai, ngl this is good adaptation of the 0 squad since in the manga they got neg diff by the elite guard.

Jugram doesn't have a Volstanding because he's a special Quincy like Yhwach, neither does uryu since it's never hinted or showed he can use it again after he used the Old version of it in the ss arc

@@pitoseavy4523 Well it's possible uryu might get one in the anime version, Unless Uryu was already in the processing/training of getting it before tybw, its unlikely that he immediately gained a Volstanding the moment Yhwach gave him a schrift but as for Jugram he doesn't have it for the same reason as Yhwach
And the order in which she defeats them with an exact amount of cloth hunks shows from the least to the most powerful of them, top 3:
3 - Gerard
2 - Jugram
1 - Uryu
And you can see that Jugram didn't seem to be in that much danger when was his time, he probably didn't die and Uryu didn't even fall, he just stayed on his knees, in the trailer for part 4 we see him attacking in a place similar to this area made by Senjumaru, and I wonder how the Elite will be revived again, fantastic final episodes.
So, is Lille the weakest then?

Well, potential spoilers if you didn't read the manga.
Unless in this instance it refers to him being the first Quincy to receive a Schrift. Then Askin who is a "normal" Sternritter. The next two are the parts of the Soul King. And the last two are Yhwach's anticipated successor and his actual successor.

At 8:44, the animators missed a big opportunity to make the auswhalen look like the quincy crest. They should have made the light circle the structures and shoot beams from each structure toward the middle, forming the quincy crest.

I kinda wish Ywha was the one to kill squad 0, like maybe he realises that squad 0 can kill his elite soldiers even if they were at full maximum power with their holy forms, and he wants to preserve them for the rest of the gotei 13 who are still alive including ichigoat and aizenGOAT, so Yhwa decides to kill squad 0 himself. Maybe they put up a fight, landing a few hits on Yhwa but eventually getting killed.
I think this would properly solidify that squad 0 is stronger than gotei 13, because gotei 13 goes on to perform better than squad 0 against the elite soldiers even though it was stated that squad 0 id stringer than the gotei 13 combined (not sure if that includes yama and aizen)
Yeah Miss Shutara's Bankai is such a looker and not only that but it definitely reflects your soul something that I personally don't want to deal with🥶.But as for Uryu a personally think that Miss Shutara didn't kill Uryu but instead sucked his spirit energy into the Pseudo Quincy Cross just to give Uryu in sight that if he keeps tagging along with Yhwachs plan he himself is going to die..So to me I think that's Senjumaru's way of giving sympathy to him.Because compared to the rest of the Quincies Uryu' is the only would didn't suffer that much
I would say the royal palace is the safest place, 1 the dense reshi there, 2 the barrier that surrounds and protects the royal palace area.3 it is sealed in which it can't be used often because of its destructive power. Yes Yama was gonna destroy sierietti with his bankai but the royal guards power effects the living,hueco muendo, sierietti as well. I think her bankai is far more destructive if she unlocked it at sierietti were it might destroy soul society as well.
Senjumaru also revealed the name of her shikai to Gerard before trying to pierce his heart...

Senjumaru's bankai really changed everything, altho we got some clue on what it did to those elite guards, we still don't know if it really defeat them. Will they resurrected once Yuha get soul king's power and clapped senju back? I guess we really have to wait for part 3.
Nah, they have yet to go all out. Gerard has yet to use a single Miracle, you think this shitty freezing would beat Miracle when Toshiro freezing and pulverizing him didn't work? Lille is still in his human form and it wasn't his Trumpet attack that got reflected, Uryu and Haschwalth has yet to even use Basic Vollstandig etc.

The Quincys were heavily nerfed in the fight Uryu and Haschwalth were more than enough to handle all of them
That's copium, Jugram even died against Tenjiro so ain't no way he's taking on all of them with his current feats, KUBO himself is involved in the anime and clearly wanted to Show Why Squad 0 is stronger than Gotei 13, something he probably didn't have the time to do in the source material
@@BandileBlose we literally see in the manga that Haschwalth give and take damage from the enemy attacks example Uryu fight so why not do it on tenjiro if not for the plot demanding him to be stupid and same with Uryu and the power scaling part is irrelevant because it is inconsistent
@@kgkg7790 maybe he needs to be in possession of his shield "Freund Schild" for that to happen, we see Tenjiro tossing the Shield away so maybe that's why he couldn't redirect the damage back to Tenjiro because he didn't have his shield 🤷♂️, Maybe he died before he got the chance to use his power(just like Lille Barro when killed by Oetsu) or perhaps in the anime version Jugram and his balance ability only get stronger after Yhwach uses Auswählen to revive and boost everybody
