Steelcase Leap v2 Unboxing - Crandall Office Remanufactured 2007-2014 Model in 2022

- Today I'm unboxing my new computer desk chair. I've heard good things about these chairs and Crandall Office Furniture. Let's see what we get!
I still have and use a Secret Lab chair (which i also did an unboxing video for), but it's a little too firm for long term sessions. The Leap v2 will be the new main chair for my new ergonomic desk setup. The Secret Lab now acts as a great secondary "all around" chair.

I hadn't planned on doing one yet, so ill just pin this as the update for now. Honestly, there isn't much to report. The chair is pretty much in the same condition as when I got it. The seat cushion foam has maybe softened slightly, but that's about it - the fabric is fine, no discoloring or tearing. All mechanical parts are still functioning normally - still nice and tight. I sit in it every day for multiple hours, so I give it a pretty good workout. I really don't have anything bad to say, it's been a great chair.

Thanks! I can tell you already it was the right investment. The neck and back issues I've been having for the past 3 years have improved tremendously after only 3 months of switching to this chair. I couldn't be happier.
Really great review, pretty much the format i was looking for. Out of curiosity since its been awhile do you have any feedback on the $30 extra thick back pad? Im on the fence if I would want that or the original thinner one for comfort/ergonomics.
Thanks, glad the video was useful! I planned to get the refurb chair with all new foam from the start, but I'm glad I did. It's really nice and has held up great. The "extra thick" back pad really isn't that thick , which is nice. I don't think it really affects the ergo much - it's firm yet comfy (i guess?) lol. I'd go for it - who knows who or what was sweating on the original one 🤮
how long did it take to get you?
Any update on the chair's LiveBack technology?
If you're referring to the flexible lumbar section that molds to your back when you sit, then good. It doesn't seem to be getting worn out or anything and it flexes right back to its original position when I stand up.

Sure, I still have it (great moving box). 32"H x 26"W x 17"D
Update?
So far so good. I've seen great improvement in my neck/back issues already. As for the chair itself, it's still as solid as the day I got it. Everything functions perfectly and the fabric and foam are holding up great too. I'm quite happy with it.
is the bio knit same as the 3d bio knit?
Negative. It's almost like an additional fabric grid layer that allows for better breathing.
