Jesus Christ says there’s only the Law (Torah,) Prophets (Ne’evim,) and Psalms (Ketuvim,) in Luke 24:44. The traditional Tanakh (Old Testament) that the Jew and Jesus Christ read and recognized as scripture was 66 books. The apocrypha was *never* recognized as scripture.

I've been reading the Bible (73 books) for the first time daily for the past 310-ish days. I just finished the Old Testament and 3/4 of the Gospels. I only have a few chapters of Proverbs, Luke, and the rest of the New Testament. It's been a crazy journey.

It certainly is. Even for non-believers, I would recommend giving it a read. It’s not just a bunch of stories, it’s a collection, a whole library of wisdom and life lessons that could be so useful in today’s stressful world
