This song is telling truth about Jesus, the son of God, and whose blood was the perfect sacrifice for all our sins, and any who have faith in His blood are saved.

Beautiful music is a spiritual experience, regardless of your faith. And what I love about PTX is that they embody what we all have in common: peace, love for one another, putting goodness into the world. All religions teach those same values, and the rest are details. Love your commentary!!

I'm no longer a Christian, either, and for the last few days I've been reveling in the new songs (and new renditions of old songs) on their latest Christmas album, "Pentatonix: The Greatest Christmas Hits." I strongly recommend their new rendition of "O Holy Night"; I think it's Grammy-worthy.
I also recommend "The Prayer." Despite the fact that it was published on their 2021 Christmas album, "Evergreen," it isn't actually a Christmas song, or even specifically Christian, though it's certainly theist. I know you would enjoy it, and I believe that there would be no dissonance at all with your faith.

This is a video about MUSIC. I made a comment, about MUSIC, that happened to include some information about my religious beliefs. And apparently your religious belief is that it's appropriate to use this space to attack another person's beliefs because they differ from yours. Do you really think this will make your religion attractive to me? Because it doesn't. All it does is to make you, personally, look like a religious bigot. Which is the last I will say on the subject in this space.

Problem ( both official video and live and at a radio station ) Can’t Hold Us, Mad World, Bohemian Rhapsody, New Rules x Are You That Somebody. ❤

Most of PTX is some form of Christian/Catholic. Except for Avi (the bass singer), he is Jewish. However, Christmas music is both beautiful and popular around the holidays (and for those that do the "Christmas in July" thing, lol) and most of the members absolutely love it so they now pretty much OWN it. 😂👍

1st Grammy EDM- "Daft Punk Medley" and 2nd Grammy was "Dance of the Sugar Plum Ferry". A song without words performed by a Band without Instruments.
3rd Grammy was with Dolly Parton. They also Calab with Megan Trainor last Christmas.
Jason Derulo, Tory Kelly, and if you go way back they did a Christmas song with Witney Houston.

I am Christian will always have faith in my Lord and savior, but part of me also feels that this fighting between God vs Allah is a huge miscommunication somewhere along the line amongst the tribes. Parts of me believe he is the same God for all of us, we call him God, you call him Allah. Why do I think this? I'm not totally sold onto this idea, it's just something I've thought about BECAUSE....Abraham who is the father to us all, had two sons, he had Isaac and Ishmael. Ishmael and his mother who was Abraham's concubine at the time (If I am remember correctly, someone correct me if I am wrong) They for some reason were sent away and Isaac stayed with Abraham. Upon Ishamel's departure, two tribes were formed, those that believe in God and Jesus fall under Isaac's tribe, those that believe in Allah and Muhammad (I believe?? again, I could be wrong, have not researched the Muslim faith) fall under Ishmael's tribe, now the reason parts of me feel they are one in the same is because they both came into their strong faith of God from the teachings of their Father, so they were both told about the same God. I don't see Abraham saying okay Ishmael you are going to love and worship this figure and then turn around and give Isaac a totally different God for him to love and worship, to me that just makes no sense. So me and my overthinking....lol in the back of my head always thought, "what a shame it would be if all this fighting and killing is going on, and both sides are actually fighting for the existence of the same God, they just do not know it because each side calls the Lord by a different name.

Yes, of course we believe the same God. The difference is when it comes down to Jesus. Muslims don't believe Jesus is the son of God but Christians do.

You are partially correct. Ishmael and issac … but God said his seed of Israel would come from Abraham and his wife… she was barren so Like many of us do we try to help God . He laid with his maid…. Well, Ishmael was born first back then the first born got all birth rights… however it was not Gods plan for his people. Since then there has always been conflict. God does not deviate from his promises. Allah started much later as revealed after Christs resurrection. In a cave from Mohamed who to this day after his death his bones are still in his grave . Christ rose from the dead . No other faith can say this no not one! Allah is not God .

You obviously have been touched deeply by this song, and also by "Hallelujah". As you said at the end of your video, your mother and your grandma used to take you to church, but some years ago you converted to islam. In my eyes this was kind of an exchange of religions. But real Christianity is no religion, it is a relationship with God the Father, through His son Jesus Christ.
Mohammed did not pay for your sins with a cruesome death on the cross. Allah doesn't wait with open arms for his prodigal children to come back to him.
I think Islam seems attractive especially to men, because it has a rather masculine appearance. But it is a fatherless religion.
On the contrary, the Great I AM is a father, and he offers you forgiveness, and a relationship with Him through His son Jesus Christ.
I pray that the Holy Spirit will touch your heart, that you will have an encounter with Jesus Christ in dreams, or visions, or through people who follow him... and that one day you will be added to God's family.
Only the blood of Jesus can wash you clean from your sins and give you a new life.
Maybe you want to do a reaction video on "Reckless Love" by Cory Asbury. I prefer the live version, because there the singer also tells his story behind the song.
I also recommend the song "Praise" by Elevation Worship feat. Brandon Lake etc. It's sooo powerful!

The Mary Did You Know video subtitles have been messed up for at least a couple of years now. When I pull up the video from a YT search, the default setting is Closed Captioning ON, and the captions are for That's Christmas, as you noticed. Don't know how long it's actually been messed up, or why someone hasn't fixed it yet, but I've seen a number of reactors get very confused and have to restart the video with captions turned off so it doesn't distract them.

Wondering why you turned from Christianity. Did you know after Jesus rose on the third day, he remained on earth for 40 days (Acts 1:3) and was seen by more than 500 people AT ONE TIME (1 Corinthians 15:6). The New Testament is full of eyewitness accounts of this. To me, anyone who can predict their own death, resurrection and pull it off . . . is who I will follow. I love you, Geaux. Thank you for letting me share this with you.

Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life- He came to the world Fully God and fully man- He is The Only perfect blood sacrifice to atone for our sins. Jesus came to take our sins upon Himself in human form and died on the cross to save us because he loves us and all humans fall short of the Glory of God no matter how 'good' or 'not that bad' someone is. No one can live a perfect life here on Earth- Only He could/can take away our sins and bridge that gap between us and God the Father because He is the Perfect Lamb of God. He rose on the 3rd day overcoming death and sin. Most people 'know of' Jesus- even the demons and satan himself knows Jesus- You are saved by making Him Lord of your life and not just knowing he died on the cross for your sins, but repenting of your sins and trusting in Him alone, asking Jesus to come into your heart and save your soul as only He can, then living your life following Him and His ways, letting the Holy Spirit guide you.
