What a perfect combination! We just moved here from Fort hood which is where our family lives and moved to Germany and I love Germany but it’s so hard to learn the language. I love how you have family here and know German , English and Spanish ( I’m from PR 🇵🇷 ). I’m so glad I came across your channel !

Is this where you all ended up moving? Is this Officer or Sr NCO housing? We’re about to PCS too... and with the COVID restrictions the sponsor will have to pick the place for us. We’re just trying to get an idea of what the houses look like.
All military housing on or off post is available for all service members. Due to Covid, sponsors help be the deciding factor in your housing of choice. I recommend you do research on housing off post if you interested in stay ing off post to tell your sponsor that these are the areas your interested in so he or she can tell that to the housing office to check for availability in those areas. Weiden, Freihung, Mantle, etc. are housing areas that have few service members and are equally integrated with the German community.
J G hey it’s 28 mins from vilseck and 25 minutes to Grafenwoehr it’s a little far but is manageable.. I don’t think there’s a school close to here bec our kids don’t go to school yet maybe Netzaberg would be a better option it has a school in the neighborhood ima see if I can find out about the school here and I’ll let you know 😊
