Nonsense. Whats the biggest change in S20-S24 Samsung phones, tell me! Oh wait i know it.... With the S23 U they finally fixed performance issues which people annoyed for 3 years, and with the S24U they finally got rid of the unreasonable 10x camera module in favor of a more reasonable 5x with high MP sensor instead. Innovation and changes or just fixing well known issues over 4 years? When i compare the development of lets say iPhone X etc to iPhone 15 lineup and Samsungs S20-S24 changes, improvements etc, i have to say Apple improved a well known and working/liked design and features, meanwhile, as said above.... Samsung just fixed issues they might intentionally created.
Calling the devices we carry phones is like calling a cruse ship a boat. Technically true but it's also so, so much more. Our society has molded itself around these tiny wireless computers we all carry to the point you can do almost anything with one.
Incredible productivity device and one that helps you to be easy connected with loved ones and friends. You can use it like this but most people most of the time ain‘t. We created a monster.
I still have a working Palm and a working HTC Qtek 9000 (basically a tiny laptop/PDA/smartphone). brilliant devices to be honest and even more customizable with a modified Windows 6.0 installation the "modern" HTC device, but the original Windows Mobile 5.0 was already great and i even made Wolfenstein 3D to run on it like 20 years ago. There was also a lot free, from private persons handmade games to install, snake replicas, even super mario replica games or space shooters etc. People really tend to forget how amazing PDAs were. They were just complex and "inconvenient"... people rather had a Nokia phone, a Sony Ericsson Walkman phone or so because they were limited, but SIMPLE and small. Thats why i prefer iPhones, they are simple and i dont want a phone i have to care more about phone (costumizations, settings, safety, problem solving, etc.) than using it for the tasks i have it. I want a simple phone with usable and "tested"/"apple approved" apps, no risk of installing maleware or just a bad optimized app for the given device.
If the final takeaway is that personal AI assistants is the next mobile device battleground, then Apple needs to get to work, because Google Assistant is lightyears ahead of Siri.
They have their own LLM and LAM that have been in development for years. iOS 18 is rumoured to be the release when they finally unveil their AI strategy. Theoretically iOS is the best suited OS in the world for AI because of the way that their accessibility APIs work. The system can read every app in intricate detail so that LAMs can take full advantage.
I have never heard Apple talk about AI. In their dictionary, it's not AI. They call it machine learning, intelligent assistant and so on. Actually it already runs in thr background in iOS 17.

Apple’s revenue is 2 times higher than Samsung. Apple’s profit, or net income is 3 times higher than Samsung. And Apple is a $3 Trillion dollar company, by far the biggest in the world and it’s worth nearly 10 times more than Samsung which is only a 350 Billion dollar company Apple’s profit margins on their products are much higher than Samsung’s. But keep crying about Apple’s success 😂
Still Apple relies on Samsung. Is it really worth $3 trillion? Is Tesla worth over $1 trillion? These are all market evaluations, not the true worth of a company. I would argue no company in the world is as diversified as Samsung with its divisions not only in smartphones but militarily weapons, advanced flat screens, ship building, medical devices, entertainment, construction, advanced chip and memory manufacturing, insurance, etc. Apple has all its eggs in one basket which is risky. But from a business standpoint, Samsung is a more stable, better company.
And Apple saves on not having to operate a factory or gather resources. They save money by having it manufactured on someone else’s time and dime. That’s the magic of outsourcing.
Samsung needs to innovate too, the Ultra design is also an old and boring design, I find the S24 and S24+ more appealing than the Ultra, that thing is a brick.
It’s crazy to me that other device makers didn’t understand the significance of the App Store. I was doing retail mobile sales in 2008 and was telling all my customers that the upcoming App Store was going to change mobiles forever. If I saw that coming then how didn’t the people running these billion dollar corporations see it?
The fact is the people running these billion dollar corporations are not smarter than the rest of the populace as we are made to believe. Some of them have huge egos because think they went to the Ivies or whichever assumed 'good' schools and are stuck in their pride. Recently, FTX managed to swindle some of the people running these billion dollar corporations.
I am one of those people who live in the "apple ecosystem" the trinity of phone, watch and headphones. I love how they all work together seamlessly. I am also one of those who stay 1-2 iPhone generations behind in order to keep things in budget. At this time I am using a iPhone 12, Apple Watch 7 and Air pod's Pro. Usually Verizon will offer pretty incredible deals if you pick a phone 1-2 generations behind, the iPhone 12 only cost me 8$ a month and the watch was like 12$ a month. They sneak in those fees but still a great deal.
@@blackvikingeire No, personally I'm not impressed by many things, but that presentation was a turning point in world/society. There was life before presentation and life after that.
At this point, it's all about personal preference. Some like Apple's simplicity and don't need a bunch of customization, others want it. The main *** vs *** argument between the 2 is about the camera. My friends that have all had iPhones think my S23 Ultra's camera is the best, but I personally think that Apple has better contrast. But when you consider that we now live in the social media era and that every social media app has a filter/editing feature, it really doesn't matter. TBH, I'm more annoyed with Samsung users who keep complaining about removable storage: they don't realize that having internal storage allows faster processing for pics and vids which allows better quality. Anyone who complains they need more than 512 GB of storage means that they're trying to put movies and 👉👌 on their phones. Keep in mind one thing though, this news doesn't shake Samsung in the least; when you open an iPhone, a good number of the components are Samsung lol. That's right, Samsung makes money from every iPhone. In fact, Apple is Samsung's biggest customer ($Billions) just from component sales.
This comment is more informative than the actual premise of the video. I do want to add that removable storage absolutely does not affect picture quality as it is all done in real-time in the phone's memory, not storage. While it's slow, it's still better than not having any expandable storage. Transferring files by removing the SD card is also a lot more convenient (for me) than using a USB cable since there is no chance of the cable accidentally being unplugged.
what you are conviniently forgetting is that you can get sd card for 20% of the price you pay apple to have bigger memory in iphone. And when phones are already as expensive as they are today that is a big problem

Until now, there was one Achilles' heel on the Android's side: short OS upgrade period. Now that Pixel 8 has 7 years of upgrade, which is about the same as that of iPhones, I don't think I would ever need an iPhone. Plus, it has a locked ecosystem and weird software restrictions like not being able to change the default browser or using a different web browser engine (Chrome on iPhone is just Safari with a skin). Security? Well, most of the shenanigans on the Android are because the user agreed to install some random software by ignoring warnings and actively clicking the install button. Although iPhone is an excellent smartphone, I find a bit disappointing that Tim Cook may not be visionnary enough to understand how to create an amazing user experience for Apple devices… For example, in terms of user experience Witricity/Airfuel wireless charging looks so much more convenient than Qi wireless charging, and seems to scale well across different type of devices. Another example is multi 10Gbits/s, low latency 60Ghz WiGig (802.11ay) wireless connectivity / docking which would allow to connect wireless to all the I/O (USB-C, Ethernet, HDMI,…) for an iPad, Macbook, iMac,… One more is Tim Cook stubborn refusal to integrate touchscreen in Mac computers : although touch is not convenient everywhere, it is still one more option to interact with the UI that is more convenient in some cases. It is frustrating not to have the option as users are so accustomed to it with iPads and iPhones… And the list of things like this goes on…
@user-sj5ju4jb7t The Apple Watch and Vision Pro are products pushed by Tim Cook, and the Apple Watch is not a groundbreaking success (although leader in its category), neither will be the Vision Pro. When launching the iPad, Steve Jobs clearly explained that for a product to exist, it needs to much be better/easier at a sufficient number of things to have a reason to exist : The Vision Pro is worst at most things, and marginally better maybe to watch videos, and some professional usages. It will be a failure… Tim Cook lacks vision of what people really need to help them in their life. My belief is that there are so much more opportunities in home automation (as prove Amazon Alexa sales volume) : Apple could refine the experience, to make it better and easier, and could sell a small device a big bigger than an iPhone, with different type of sensors (temperature, humidity,…) and an AI assistant, that can be controlled through touch or voice, and that would be installed in each room of a house and be well integrated with iPhone/iPad/Macs,… So much more opportunities there with the right ecosystem (Matter,…)
@user-sj5ju4jb7t Vision Pro maybe a hardsell for reality headset.....microsoft has been in this space far longer than Apple for corporate solutions. Google has also been developing even before MS in terms of wearable items like google glass etc.....

More like Personal Computer. Because many people do their work via smartphone only.

Apple’s revenue is 2 times higher than Samsung. Apple’s profit, or net income is 3 times higher than Samsung. And Apple is a $3 Trillion dollar company, by far the biggest in the world and it’s worth nearly 10 times more than Samsung which is only a 350 Billion dollar company
Apple’s profit margins on their products are much higher than Samsung’s.

Of course phones need more storage to store👉👌

Until now, there was one Achilles' heel on the Android's side: short OS upgrade period. Now that Pixel 8 has 7 years of upgrade, which is about the same as that of iPhones, I don't think I would ever need an iPhone. Plus, it has a locked ecosystem and weird software restrictions like not being able to change the default browser or using a different web browser engine (Chrome on iPhone is just Safari with a skin). Security? Well, most of the shenanigans on the Android are because the user agreed to install some random software by ignoring warnings and actively clicking the install button. If they install only famous apps from the Play Store, I don't think the security of Android and iPhones is much different.

It wouldn’t be until 2013 when, after that five-year exclusivity deal with AT&T expired, the iPhone _really_ took off as other mobile providers around the world (including Verizon and Sprint/T-Mobile) finally made it available.
Samsung fanboys will never understand.
It doesnt matter if you make the greatest most advanced technology. You could put a 100 Gigapixel camera on a sumsung and i still wouldnt buy it.
Its how it all works together and how intuitive it is to use that technology that matters most.
We do understand we do know how evil America is. All over the world more people are using Android phones they believe its better. Only in America u will see a company begging another for its amazing screens then saying they are better
Apple fanboys support Isis and Terrorists just like the ones in San Bernardino even cheered on Apple for not unlocking the phones
This title and this topic is actually about Apple's inferior OS and products.
My first Apple product was the 5th generation iPod in 2008. I DO NOT miss Android, not in the least!!
You don't even know the two products.
Peak CNBC content lol. People aren't stupid anymore.
Since tiktokers started to buy it India
Samsung forgot that a bulk of their customers chose Samsung as an ALTERNATIVE to iPhones.
When they started copying the stupid things Apple did, why not just get an iPhone.
1. Removing headphone jacks to boost headphone sales
2. Taking away removable batteries to force you to replace your phone quicker
3. Eliminating removable storage to force upgrades and upsell cloud storage
If you want to get screwed and ripped off, why not get screwed by the best? 🤣
OS differences and purpose. Some prefer iOS some prefer android for other purpose. There are things android can do iphone cant, since android is linux based.....you are reaching my friend.
Microsoft has started doing the same thing with Windows 11
is everything
Apple copied a lot too, so why not get the other phones that Apple copied from? Logic...
Because the cheapest iphone costs 10-times the amount I paid for my Samsung?
Laser keyboard and projector display ability for iphone would generate sale like crazy
Watching this on my 3 years old iphone , my s8 plus stoped working after 2.5 years
😂😂5 month difference ain't bad
My S9 plus is 6 years old and has never frozen or crashed
do you want to use one phone or 30 years or for your life time
My S20 still working pretty fine...no problem with battery either
My notes20 ultra is working fine 4 years later
Lol, Im 36 and never had an iPhone and never wanted.
I happy with Androids open ecosystem where I can install whatever I want without need of stores and other bs❤
I lost it when I couldn't Bluetooth pair my Galaxy with an IPad
I can't understand anyone buying an iPhone. I have to use the dirt for work and I get so frustrated every time because there's nothing useful or easy about it. I'm glad that there are alternatives and every other manufacturer I've had privately so far has been significantly better. (Samsung, Sony, Huawei, one plus, Pixel)

Stay mad 😂 you seem really salty about iPhone’s success. It is not only the best selling smartphone, but it absolutely dominates the high end smartphone market
IPhone is only company that sells high end smartphones exclusively. Most other companies like Samsung get most of their sales from low end or mid end smartphones
So Apple being number one while having the most expensive product line speaks volumes about the quality of their product
@@tylerclayton6081 Just because they sell the most expensive phones doesn't mean they make the best phones. The people I know who have an iPhone privately have no idea about technology and buy what is presented as the best somewhere. Everyone has succumbed to Apple's brainwashing.
@@tylerclayton6081quality? Or because of their brand?

And with the s24 series they take back their crown. A bit late to the video
iPhone and Samsung, need each other
I’m proud to be an iPhone user, that’s the best tribute we can do for Steve Jobs
His legacy died with him and the virtue signalers took over. They lobby against rights to repair
@@rhetorical1488Apple would have died if Steve were alive since he doesnt want 6" phones😂😂😂😂
@@rhetorical1488 Jobs wasn't a right to repair advocate. That was never a part of his legacy.
@@huckleberryfinn6578 Jobs was an ideas guy. he had good ones. he predated the online frothing at the mouth liberal policies and had no need to push right to repair.
Android maintained its position as the leading mobile operating system worldwide in the fourth quarter of 2023 with a market share of 70.1 percent. Android's closest rival, Apple's iOS, had a market share of 29.2 percent during the same period.
Samsung makes the display on the iPhone so they will be fine
I just went a consistent back function swipe or button across all apps on iPhone
Me too!
Imagine a day that every device is in one ecosystem regardless of whether it is iOS or Android.
Most underrated comment ive seen 🙏
You do realize innovation comes with competition. If one company or even a multitude of companies worked on just one ecosystem, there would be no reason to innovate and they would have immense influence over peoples lives and even government.
Samsung is better, period. Apple is just a popularity contest.
As someone who exclusively uses Apple stuff, there is something I find extremely interesting about Samsung users... And I swear I don't mean this to be smug sounding. They feel the continual need to point out iPhone's issues.
They usually attempt that, "last bastion of choice" argument by citing customisation or trying to point out Apple's "strict" policies on things, but it's usually moot.
I probably cannot encapsulate the quote just right, but a few months ago I read a quote like this and it just clicked with me on how I feel whenever I'm approached by a non-iPhone user ranting their mind off about how much they hate the iPhone.
"I know you're fighting a proxy war and don't know it, but I promise you I legit never lose sleep thinking about how much Android users dislike iPhone."
Just for fun, will post to make sure those that hate this company see this company work hard to get where it is today.
There's a street in San Jose, CA named after Steve Wozniak. It's by the Children's Discovery Museum. The street is called "Wozniak."
"that's great siri but I said turn off the bedroom fan"
Samsung are directly competing with cheaper Chinese brands. People who want an android phone usually won’t buy an iPhone.
I’ve always had an iPhone for all my times having a smartphone, so I gotta admit I’m sticking with it unhinged by the tech competition lol
I´ve been switching between iPhones and Galaxy throughout the years, i gotta tell you if you haven't experienced a modern Samsung phone, you have no idea how capable and advanced smartphones are these days. There´s not even a decent calculator app on the iPhone, or even worse, theres none for the iPad. Apple has been catching up real quick lately, but the iPhone is always 3 years behind the current tech.
Nokia, Palm, RIM, Microsoft, Motorola, hTC, Sony Ericsson, all great memories.
and LG
There were application stores and ways to buy applications directly for non-iPhone phones/mobile devices before Apple created the App Store. The report is correct that "apps" increased the appeal of the iPhone.
Its why microsoft nokia phone died. It had no apps....lol and microsoft came late into the industry. If they were 1 yr earlier and had set up an ecosystem it would be a decent phone.
@@441meatloaf Nokia phones were IIRC based on relatively low power systems made to optimize battery life. iPhones were relatively powerful, based on a modified version of Apple’s desktop OS, making it easier for Mac devs to transition to phone dev.
For those interested in more details about early app stores, see the article ‘The Many App Stores Before the App Store: Assessing the landscape of the app store concept in the years before it became an idea “originated” by Apple. Feels like we went thru the “future” and it’s wild that we’re still in this era bc we constantly want more and more

Although iPhone is an excellent smartphone, I find a bit disappointing that Tim Cook may not be visionnary enough to understand how to create an amazing user experience for Apple devices…
For example, in terms of user experience Witricity/Airfuel wireless charging looks so much more convenient than Qi wireless charging, and seems to scale well across different type of devices.
Another example is multi 10Gbits/s, low latency 60Ghz WiGig (802.11ay) wireless connectivity / docking which would allow to connect wireless to all the I/O (USB-C, Ethernet, HDMI,…) for an iPad, Macbook, iMac,…
One more is Tim Cook stubborn refusal to integrate touchscreen in Mac computers : although touch is not convenient everywhere, it is still one more option to interact with the UI that is more convenient in some cases. It is frustrating not to have the option as users are so accustomed to it with iPads and iPhones…
And the list of things like this goes on…
@user-sj5ju4jb7t The Apple Watch and Vision Pro are products pushed by Tim Cook, and the Apple Watch is not a groundbreaking success (although leader in its category), neither will be the Vision Pro. When launching the iPad, Steve Jobs clearly explained that for a product to exist, it needs to much be better/easier at a sufficient number of things to have a reason to exist : The Vision Pro is worst at most things, and marginally better maybe to watch videos, and some professional usages. It will be a failure…
Tim Cook lacks vision of what people really need to help them in their life.
Imagine if apple sells low end iPhones and laptops that cost $100-$500 just like samsung does.. they could have overtook samsung long time ago
Doubt it. Apple are already worth more than Samsung
Agree should have loads more ppl would buy budget iPhones
im 30 and i never had a iphone and never will! Samsung

Apple's after sales service is unbeatable. What samsung does when you visit their service center is to find something to reject warranty. At the same time apple employees immediately apologize that their product became defective and service the product. Is top notch customer care which other companies should learn from.
Yeah, that is also the impression i get from my US friends.
Here in Europe the apple service is a joke. Just to get them to take on the work is a battle. And then come every excuse to spend 4 months on fixing the issue.
Wow, the timing is just… wow.
