My local comic shop does manga too now so i can get stuff ordered safely from them at a decent discount. But the discount codes and point system here is worth keeping in mind. Also i find the 3-in-1 editions are cheapest for getting the story collected, but discounted box sets are the cheapest for people that want all the individual volumes

Man I hate living in the UK! We don't get free shipping even if we pay more than $50! The international shipping is over $50 on top of the price so it's just not worth it unless you live in the US

Question, since you own a lot of manga! I’ve just started collecting and I’m wondering if all Shonen Jump titles have terrible printing? I bought Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen and each volume had the spine print overlapping onto the cover or the opposite. Some covers where even to short and ended before the pages did (the pages where sticking out in the front). Do you know if it’s a common problem? I returned all mine, not paying around 12 dollars (I have a different currency but that should be correct) for something that poorly made…
That's pretty strange indeed, I recently bought volumes of Chainsaw man for around 18$ (My currency is Php) but the one's I got were fine, the spine print wasn't really overlapping with the cover nor vice versa, and the covers were the same size as the pages, the store you must've seen it from was selling knock-off counterfeits.
@@seisudachi1895 They’re not knock-offs, it’s so strange… I bought them online from our largest bookstore, who orders them directly from the publisher. There printed in Canada I think. I’m wondering if it’s just a shitty printing company that made this reprint or something, maybe in a hurry to get them out because of the demand. Viz never replies when I email them so I’m guessing it’s no use asking them directly.
@@seisudachi1895 I was wrong about Canada, it was different printing companies. USA, Italy, Canada mostly.
Well it depends on the publisher and their quality control. They usually are average to okay Id say but they do sometimes have defects etc.

Still way too expensive in my home country, I bought Mangas for 3 USD if you convert local currency. I couldn't get more because it would've weighed too much to bring on the flight back to Canada(where i live).
Yeah Canadian prices are nuts. I would not be happy if I had to get all my manga that expensive. BUT you can still order from some places online that will help.

I just found this video and went to the Takara Café website and nothing looks discounted anymore. Everything I've looked at is listed for retail price. I know they said they had to reduce the discounts because of the new supplier they're using to fulfill orders, but I didn't think that meant they had gotten rid of them completely.
Yes this is the old one so a lot has changed with them so far.

USPS already tests the durability of the boxes by tossing it about all crazily in the US usually especially if it's lighter and can be shoved in mail boxes.
From my experience they hate subscription service boxes the MOST
Buying loot crate boxes they wouldn't put a normal box over the collectible box so half the time mine ended up really beat up by the end of it .
Yeah they def test them every time lol I get too many boxes beat to crap even ones that were only in movement for 1 day or less lol

You almost have to tell companies NOT to put fragile stickers on boxes because they take it as a challenge to purposely rough those ones up specifically.
I have more luck with just hoping for the best I'm very thankful they started putting some books in like harder stiff boxes

I’m a little confused on the reprints and restock. When it’s displayed on the website for today 5/7 let’s go with One Piece box set 1 dose that mean it’s being reprinted as of today and come out at a later date and time or dose that mean it will be restocked as of today. I think the website is great and I can’t wait to shop for manga i think the redeem points system is a great idea.
