We NEVER Thought OLD JEEPS Could DO THIS!

- Chuck led a HUGE group of rigs on The Maze trail during the 2024 Winter 4X4 Jamboree. It was only supposed to be about 30 rigs but a last-minute add-on quickly escalated the group to 40!
But, who could say no to a rad group of old Willys and Land Rovers??? The vintage part of the group was led by Stan Fuller, in @Grampas-jeep, and they came to PARTY! There were not many obstacles they bypassed and one of them even went up the "You Gotta Be Nuts "obstacle!
The vintage Jeeps weren't the only ones ready to party though, @azjeepingirl ABSOLUTELY SENT IT!
Despite the large size, we had an AMAZING day on The Maze with this group. And, we had an excellent Trail Crew. Thank you, Josh, Derek, Pat, Aaron, Alyssa, Travis, and Desi. We could not have done it without you all!

Nice video! You guys were busy directing things, I totally understand, too bad you missed Jeff running up "You Gotta Be Nuts" in his 1943 Willys on stock military tires. I was in the old grey Land Rover, and several of us drove up that steep V notch you showed Stan trying. We had a blast !! Thanks for giving the respect to us old timers !!
We had even more fun on Papa Smurf climbing those walls, surprised more than a few ! Great times !
I know, I was so bummed I missed Jeff going up You Gotta Be Nuts, I was too far back filming and then when i got up there, seconds after he did it, Chuck was like "you'll never beilve what you just missed" UGGGH bummer. We all enjoyed watching you guys naviagte the terrian, it is such a different style of wheeling and so interesting! - Mason
Yea, over the last 38 years, going from 7.50-16" bias ply on my first Willys in 1986, to 35"s in the mid 1990's, 38"s by 2000, then 40"s,....... now, all those decades later, back on 7.50-16 bias plys again and having more fun than ever !! Demands on the driver, Right?? Now, it took Jeff 2 years to get up the nerve to go up "You Gotta Be Nuts" This was my first time at Sand Hollow, and I was behaving myself...... We'll see how long it takes me to get up the nerve ! @@masonconversemedia

That is one of the reasons chuck likes editing the videos, he says he doesn't get to see as much as I see during the trails and gets to catch all the action when he reviews the videos.

It was a lot of Jeeps, luckily we had a large trail crew spread out throughout the group. I think overall it was a big success considering it was that big. I hope everyone felt the same.
