Yes, a fun song right from the first Ooga-Chaka!!! This was a big hit for this Swedish band. A very different sound from the B. J. Thomas original.

Yes, I think their version of "Never My Love" is far superior to this song. The lead singer of this group, Bjorn Skifs, performed in the Eurovision song contest many times, actually was up againt the First song that Abba had submitted in 1972, with this song:

It used to be played every hour in 1 of the jobs I had about 8 years I think so the first thing I think about is all co workers I was friendly with had some nice times ,I don’t remember it coming out earlier but it’s obvious it did , great feel good tune made to put a smile on your face , have a nice day cece x

This song brings back some very fond memories of an old children's tv show. Growing up in Seattle there was a show called J.P. Patches. J.P. was a goofy clown with a sidekick and they both played many different characters but on the set JP had a secret room that he would open and every time he said the magic words to open it the "Ooga Chucka" singers would begin to sing. My mother never had a problem getting us kids up to get ready for school, we eagerly got up, got dressed and ready for school so we could sit down and watch this show before school. Watched it every day up from grade school up until high school. I'm 60now and still watch old episodes on youtube and enjoy them. If interested I think the J.P. Patches show episode 1 he opens the secret room with the magic words Zobba zobba zoo secret room alakazoom - BOOM! Lots of good memories of that show and this song due to the Ooga Chucka singers!!

Its sung by a swedish artist called Björn Skifs, much loved in Sweden that had good amount of musical sucess in the 70s and 80s. Also an actor....well liked,and this song is great..he had some international sucess with this..a big,big hit in the day...love it! Its very different,with the chorus and its way its produced and performed. Great song!

@@CC2Cents_ Yes,I remember hearing this as a child on the radio in the 70s, and it was on there alot..I think it was released in 1973 but it was played way after that as well... Very groovy,very popular in Sweden as mentioned there. Only one flaw,its abit short,could have had a few more verses :)
