  • Shout-out to Connie for showing me around this project. For viewing arrangements, kindly contact her at 010-277 7633.
    Nestled adjacent to a forest reserve, Inwood Residences definitely redefined my expectation of the area of Pantai Sentral Park. Although sandwiched in between both NPE and Federal Highway, this location didn't get the 'wow' factor of connectivity as people would expect to access only via Bangsar South. However, the newly completed interchange from NPE definitely changed that.
    The development fully leveraged on the forest reserve irregardless of facilities and unit design but yet not losing the convenience of having office towers, malls, and LRT station in proximity.
    However, the unit only have a rather low ceiling and narrow layout whether it cannot bring out the scale of 1600 sqft. Plus it's empty during VP which increases the burden of furnishing for the owner.

    I had a unit in Camellia, next to Nexus. Let it go due to poor Management Office (DATS), electricity cut off too often, can hear next door's muffled-talking and kids crying. Their corridor echoes as if like you going for live-hall concert. Everytime we have to walk with really light steps and whisper if we are talking on the phone walking to the unit. And their gym room, after using it only realized many condos gym room don't have windows to open and fans for ventilation. They are all air conditioned with sealed windows. If the gym room is big like those club house, air conditioned with sealed windows is fine. But such a small space, when everybody sweat inside there... imagine the smell of sweat and breathe. So this new building in your video, the gym room is being built the same. Sealed windows, tight space, air condition. And totally agree with you. The laundry yard, why on earth they made it open like that? An actually purposeful area became pointless. And the guest bathroom???!! They could've made use of the space for a bigger "storage room" / pantry room. Or even put it as a shared bathroom for other rooms. Again, and again, all these dumb developers just can't build homes with big enough wardrobe space in each room specially the masters.

      @iherng  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey there. As always, I enjoy reading your take on development. Unfortunately based on my experience of working with developers previously, there are no empathy in their design. This means the gym is designed by people who do not work out. Pools are designed by people who seldom swim. Kitchens are designed by people who don't even know how to cook.
      Therefore, hopefully these videos will reach the product development and marketing team of developers where by improving their game doesn't mean 'fancy' design such as lazy river or rock climbing... but it's about functionality.. The video also helped people by being aware where is your refuse chamber, maintenance office and etc.
      Functionality first! fanciness later...

      Nope, it's a forest reserved. So by law it cannot be touched.
      But our beloved country often have lot's of magic behind the scenes. Hence I wouldn't guarantee, confirm it wouldn't happen. But there are still lots of land around that area before they need to take up the reserved land.
