    This is an amazing transformation
    I wouldn’t have thought of the v shape for the front which was a splendid idea

    • @svensbricks
      @svensbricks  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks again! Something had to be done with the front, it looked too much like an Audi or something otherwise. Was pretty pleased when I realised jumpers would work

    Bro! Your channel is AMAZING! In my opinion you are one of the coolest and most unique lego TH-cam channels out there. I’m putting you on my top 3 list with TD Bricks, and Tiago Catarino. Thank you for being an amazing part of my lego life.

      Wow what a wonderful comment. Thanks so much. I’ve had a little break from Lego over the summer but this comment just ignited my inspiration and I’m filming a new video now!

    Would certainly love to see a 8 stud conversion of the McLaren Senna 75892, was my first foray into speed champions and the build was excellent

    Hey Sven! I'm glad I found your channel, greetings from Hungary :) I've been following your videos from the Countach build and I really like these Speed Champions mods / conversions. Mostly I build scale models but I was a big Lego fan years ago, and the Speed Champions lineup combines these two really nicely: accurate replicas built with creative ways from Lego bricks. I've been purchasing a few SC models that I like, for example the Audi and the Countach. I found these 5 stud wide Speed Champions polybag models for really cheap so I picked up the McLaren Elva and the Aston too. Your conversion videos inspired me to get the 4 stud wide Lamborghini Huracan polybag model (from 2020) and try to convert it to 5 studs wide using the parts of the Aston and a few black parts that I picked up at the store. I think it turned out pretty cool, from something that looks almost any car but a Lamborghini it's definetely better. Can I send you some photos of it? I'm really curious to hear your thoughts about it. I might pick up a few special parts to make it even better. Keep up the great work, I'm looking forward to more videos from you :)

    I’d suggest waiting for the new pagani utopia set to come out, the windscreen from the set should match the chirons shape better

    • @svensbricks
      @svensbricks  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! The shape looks much closer, right? Just need it in black though, unless I rebuild the whole car in grey… 🤔

    10:00 you get a black windscreen with the Lotus Evija but it has a yellow stripe that goes around the bottom. Edit: Ah just watched the rest of the video. You already knew that.

    • @svensbricks
      @svensbricks  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I would’ve tried it if I owned the Lotus but that yellow stripe was enough to put me off the whole set 😂

  • @VVaypoint
    @VVaypoint ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I am really tempted to do something like this myself but I am not sure if I want to touch my collection esp since I don't have extra stickers available if I want to change locations or similar.

    • @svensbricks
      @svensbricks  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For this particular model I didn’t need to change the stickers, but I hear you. There are companies out there that reproduce old sticker sheets. A heck of a lot cheaper than official ones from Bricklink in some cases. I’ve used www.brickstickershop.com for example

    • @svensbricks

    Do you have any plans to provide instructions and a parts list in a pdf?

    • @svensbricks
      @svensbricks  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi and thanks for the comment. No plans as such yet but if demand is high enough I’ll definitely consider it. The hope was that the video could be followed along to, but might be tricky?

    • @jawbreaker1916
      @jawbreaker1916 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@svensbricks Thanks so much for the reply. I don't know that I would be able to follow along with the video, but I'm probably in the minority. I'm a set collector. The few mods/mocs that I have done have all had instructions with parts lists, and I only buy the parts that I need. I don't use parts from my other sets. That may change in the future, but thus far, that has been my approach. Keep up the great work!

    • @svensbricks
      @svensbricks  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jawbreaker1916 I’ve never tried making my own instructions before but I might give it a go. I’ll let you know if it happens 😀
