Pickup the new Pagani Utopia for the new extremely low cockpit that now is flat, and one stud lower to the ground seating, and 6 studs long, but shorter on the outside of the "Interior" area. Also pickup the new porsche for the brand new wheel arches that let you get the tiles even with the top of the wheel arch! You will also get the newest slopes that will really help you with many car remakes, and the new two plate thick SNOT brick with rounded back (is it considered a thin brick, or a thick plate??? LOL). I am re-working the skyline now using the extra pagani set I bought, and I am so made that LEGO didn't use these new pieces for the beloved skyline! It makes the car look dan near perfect with these new pieces!
Better yet, I just opened the new ferrari 812, and that by itself has everything you need in one pack, all red wheel arches, with all new cockpit, and a bunch of new ferrari style tailights style 1x1 printed tiles, and those new rounded double plate SNOT bricks!
Yep picked all these sets up this week and just started this morning looking at how the Skyline can be improved. Shame the new wheel arches aren’t available in light grey yet
@@svensbricks Oh I am right there with you! However, I'm looking at remaking the WHOLE Skyline GT-R34 but using the new pieces, and still using like the technique for those taillights, the front fascia was still a genius idea to get the skyline OEM shape I thought, but some of the stuff I am trying to rework is those beautiful R34 Qtr panels, the headlights and hood area, and the roof line which I felt was 1 stud too long in the 2F2F LEGO build (It looks a ton better shortening it by 1 stud btw)!
@@svensbricks Any word on the Skyline Remake, or even a revisit to the Ferrari LaFerarri with the new 812 parts? Really looking forward to seeing this from you!
Yo I remember getting a Lego Laferrari when i was like 6 when it came out and I destroyed it. I regret doing that now that it cost $80 but im rebulilding it
I hope they make a plain red car with the 2023 parts (new wheelarches mostly) next year because it'd be so useful for all the Ferrari upgrades. I think this recreation is clearly a big improvement and entirely fine for 8-studs but I feel like there is still room for improvement even in this scale. But, it's a difficult medium so really, nice job.
Hey and thanks a lot for the comment! I’ll probably get round to doing them all eventually, it’s just a question of getting hold of them at a decent price. 😃
Many thanks! You can visit my Rebrickable page (link is in the description) for the three I’ve already done. Instructions for the LaFerrari will be available very soon!
Hey! I’ve got that one in mind, it’s just been hard to get hold of. Might see if I can piece it together with my spare parts but then it won’t have stickers. Stay tuned! 😀
This man is a legend! How has Lego not hired him??
I wish 😍 thanks a lot for the tremendously kind comment
I have been waiting for a Lego video like this!
Wow! Great job as always Sven. That is a waaaaaaay better solution for this model. Keep up the good work.
Thanks a lot Ryan! Super kind words as always!
My man, you got me going back and getting all these older sets just to convert them to 8 stud wide! Awesome, you are a genius!
Thank you buddy! Fun that it’s breathing life into your old sets.
Can’t wait for the senna video. This video was great. I recommend you should do the corvette Z06 from 2016. I’ve soon the senna and it looks great
Thanks a lot! Yep, I’ll get round to the Z06 sooner or later 😀
That was awesome! I'm in the process of converting some 6 stud sets to 8. This is one of them.
Thank you Sven for this amazing video we are going to be watching! I have been waiting for one of these!
Hope you enjoy it!
Really cool build! Cant wait for more intructions on your models.
Thanks a tonne! Instructions for this one will be available soon.
I would definitely like if Lego does a Legacy set as part of their Speed Champions line up. Sort like an extra set instead of 5.

What a video, my man basically designed a whole new model, the front and the hood of the car is absolutely great, awesome video as always.
Appreciate it so much, thank you!

could you make instructions for this set please? Thanks
Loving the new transitions and overlays- nicely done!
I’m real proud of my Porsche 919 Hybrid 8 stud conversion
Please make a instruction book for this
It’s almost done 😀
Nice build thanks Sven
Thanks Speedy!! 😃
That is an amazing Job, you deserve a lot more suscribers
Thank you so much 😀

The new Ferrari 812 has the new red wheel arches. May have to redesign my redesign 😂
Somehow I entirely forgot...
I really love seeing your conversions of these old sets. You think you could try and do the Mustang GT or maybe the Corvette Z06 next?

@@svensbricks I understand you mate, i'm just too excited for what's next to come 👍
Really great job! I would like to know if you links to instructions and parts lists for these conversions? Thanks Sven!!

Will you try converting old Porsche 918? I tried and in my opinion it's even harder than LaFerrari
Hey mate, would love to see you do the 8 stud conversion on the black ford gt40

i still think the head is too long, but it is nicely done
From my laferrari I made a f40 I just think it looks better alongside the countach
That sounds cool, I’d love to see it!
Why u don't use new pieces for speed champions 2023? Main frame piece is lower and new wheel arches allow you to put hood lower
I’m currently doing just that 😊
@@svensbricks looking forward for results
When are you adding more to your page on rebruckable
Good question, it’s quite time consuming so not something I do a lot. Which car are you most interested in?
THE LAFERRARI 8 STUD REDESIGN@@svensbricks
Do you have any update on the audi r8 lm?
It’s been hard to find actually so I haven’t managed to get my hands on it yet, but I will I promise!
@@svensbricks ok keep it up legend
Hi sven i would like if you could link instructions to the build
Thanks! Yes I will once they’re done. I’m currently redoing it with the new chassis to fit 2 figs
Stop saying the color doesn’t matter we already know this cause if we’re watching this than we have built plenty of Lego sets brah 😑
