Your pen testing station is a brilliant idea, especially for those just entering the fountain pen universe. Likewise your videos demonstrating the many nibs of Pilot and Sailor, which revealed nuances I'd never even imagined. I wonder if you can identify for me what seems a rather thick and inviting orange notebook on the middle shelf at the 5:40 spot in your shop-tour video.

I am embarrassed to say I for some reason I thought you were in Japan and I found it fascinating that there was a Taiwanese owned adorable stationery shop in Japan competing with all the rest of the top notch stationery stores. Funnily I never looked at the return address on my package! Then today I watch this and I'm just so in love with your shop and the clear love of and appreciation for all things stationery related that you all have in common. That personal touch would making shopping there such a fun experience. I was curious to see exactly where you are in Japan and find it is Brooklyn!!! What???!!!! That's awesome! My sister in-law and her family live there!!! Unfortunately we are in the midwest. My sister in-law and my husband are fellow Taiwanese too. 💖 They are both entrepreneurs as well and so we celebrate you on many levels. Hope to visit you one day! Cheers!

I went there today! It was nice! I brought two pens a bottle of ink! I like the idea of being able to try out the products! The sales people were helpful and knowledgeable! I would go again!

恭喜! I'm glad you could finally reopen, and I hope your new(ish) location does well. I was wondering about a 22-minute video for a relatively small space, but the time flew by. And your staff members are clearly very knowledgeable and enjoy their work. That main table is amazing, definitely a "remember to wear comfortable shoes" situation. I have to assume your place is paradise for serious fountain-pen users and probably gets a lot of new people addicted. Take care, all.
As a fountain pen fan I have it good here in the Netherlands with several pen-focussed stores in the country, but man, I would love a dedicated stationary store like Yoseka here.
I had no idea you guys opened the greenpoint location so recently! I can't wait to come back and more closely inspect all the little things I didn't even know to appreciate the first time, and considering I didn't realize this year's hobonichi is bigger than the model I tried last time it should be soon :)
We only clean out our pens as needed. We're lucky to have customers at the shop help us keep our pens writing when they come and try out all the pens so they very rarely dry out! The inks we ink up with vary a lot but we use a lot of Pilot and Sailor inks.

Btw, That pen that was dropped, can be fixed, contact Gena at @customnibstudio.. also just a suggestion about calling your customers, prob mostly women as “guys”, you might want to change that, it is very disrespectful to women and easy enough to just say “ you all”.. “ how are you today” you are smart enough to change it... thanks very much..
