  • The song has origins from 1944 when the King George II of Greece was exiled in Egypt.
    Ethnouflaki: Greek National Guards, voluntary division, established in 1852 by Otto of Greece to support frontier battalions. At these times the group consisted of 18-24 years old men. In 1982 the divisions were disbanded by the leftist government due to their right-wing actions.
