    I really wish this program had a feature where you can play the notes and it recognizes them as you play along and reminds you where the keys are if you forget. Like simply piano. Because I want to learn more advanced sheets than what simply piano offers but I’m not the most efficient reader. If that makes sense. 😅

    How do you add more than two voices on a piano score? I'm able to add notes in the treble and bass, but I can't add inner voices, like voices 3 and 4. How do you do that?

    Thanks very much for sharing Sir. Is it possible to copy Lyrics to the Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass Staves in MuseScore 3. I already have the four SATB Parts however the Lyrics for the SATB Parts are the same. So far I have had to be typing the Lyrics from scratch for each Part separately. I would appreciate any insight you or anyone may have thanks in advance!

    Is there a program you could set a tablet, laptop your phone, etc, on a real piano and it can hear you play and it notates the music without having to use MIDI keyboards etc?

    Hello! Thanx for a great video.
    I wonder, is it possible to write, for instance, a halfnote above 4 eight notes in the same measure. No as a chord but to be played at the same time. An example is in the intro to A Whiter Shade of Pale.

    • @Oddquartet
      @Oddquartet  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can with the voices feature in MuseScore. It let's you write notes of different length to play at the same time. I just made video about it if you want to check it out. th-cam.com/video/QeCsEDMy-0M/w-d-xo.html

    Hi...... My pallet icons and all other icons in the toolbar notes menubar are so tiny that I can barely see them...... How can I increase the size?

  • @bigbadbob143
    @bigbadbob143 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just one question... If you put in all of your notes, than later realize that a note needs to be longer IE 1/4 needs to be 1/2 note, will it slide everything after the change to the right. I cannot find a way to do this, Thanks

    I'm still learning MS4 via YT tutorials. I used to employ Kurweil stuff like Cakewalk back in the day, and tried putting that onto a recently acquired multicore i10 box with _zero_ luck... The notation interface on MS4 is very similar to Cakewalk; so I've taken right to that part in v4.0.2; I haven't gotten to the point where I know it well enough to do something like mix up MIDI tracks with live instrument recording, which is what I used to do with Cakewalk with vocals and guitar parts being added to bass, percs, et cetera which I'd program in by hand; at the end of it all I could just out through a virtual effects loop and mix it into an mp3 or wav for distro via CD or by file for listeners or in part for collaborators. I really like what I've seen by MuseScore so far and I was wondering if anyone has any tips where I could use this the same way (or if additional OS software will be needed) that I'd previously been using the Kurweil packages. Ty

    You didn't bring the Clarinet part back to its transposed key in this video. How do you do that?

  • @grahamcmusic
    @grahamcmusic ปีที่แล้ว

    Please . .how do you once you have input a song from a site and transposed the key tin Musescore then send that as a PDF to say forScore or at least have a copy saved as a PDF where I can then export it to forScore where I store it for playing live performances Mac/Ipad user That's all I want to do simply transpose For writing I would use Cubase Thank you

    I’m interested to know about the clarinet part - it’s still written in concert pitch, not transposed into it’s equivalent key. What does the clarinetist play?

    • @Cubi.Nguyen
      @Cubi.Nguyen 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      the Clarinet is in Bb which means that he would read a C in his sheet, but in reality he’s playing a Bb, hence why the clarinet’s part is in F major instead of Eb major.

    SOMEONE EXPLAIN HOW HE TOOK THAT REST BUTTON AWAY
    I have seriously been trying to understand that for the past half an hour help

    • @contrabasedtim
      @contrabasedtim 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The rest, eighth note, and voice 1 buttons are highlighted because that's the current note he has selected (the blue eighth rest in the oboe part) and when he clicked into the blank part of the page it deselected the note, therefore unhighlighting all the buttons since he has no note selected.

      It could be because you're running windows, or you might have a different version. This video was made using MuseScore 3.0 or 3.5. You can also check your display settings in MuseScore by going to "View" in the menu bar and making sure that "Palettes" is checked so that it shows up on your screen. Hope this helps!
