    Hi, thanks for the video, Asking if this approach can be flown on the 787 Dreamliner under similar guidance. Also on this approach is the App. button pressed. Thanks

      Yes, you can do it on the 787.
      No, the APP button is not used on the 777 for non-ILS approaches.
      You can use the APP button on the 787 if it is equipped with IAN (Integrated Approach Navigation function).
      This IAN function is not an option on the 777.

    Show meu irmão!!!! Quando no FMA o throtle acusa Hold, significa o que? Vi que tu deu uma potência e depois retirou. Fiquei meio perdido rsrs, no mais, excelente explicação. Abraço

      No 777 em HOLD (ou no 737 em ARM)… você pode mexer livremente na potência!

    Ok yes didn’t understand ! so now l am going to purchase Prepar3d. Briefly how do l do this and does this require msfs to be installed also ? thanks Claudio

      PREPAR3D is a simulator like the MSFS. Buy PREPAR3D (www.prepar3d.com). Install and test it.
      Then buy the PMDG (www.PMDG.com).
      Unfortunately you waste the money with the airplane you bought. However, the MSFS you will be using it in 1 or 2 years from now (when PMDG launches the 777 for it).

      @@LEVEL_CHANGE Testei o procedimento conforme vc fez mas usando o 737 Zibo e o 767 da FlightFactor. Colocando os min até capturar GP e Funcionou perfeito! Vi app do RNAV SBRJ é bem complexa. No aguardo para uma mais uma aula de app RNAV so que com Zibo.

    Hello! i have question The PMDG 777, When I press the APP button in the RNP Approach procedure, at ND shows the LOC and G/S in ARM status, but it does not actually work..it's normal? and does 777 not have FAC, G/P function like 737?

      Hello Gurumon!
      The FAC and G/P is an option on the 737NG (I’ve never flown an aircraft equipped with). On the 777 it is a NO (not even as an option).
      Use LNAV and VNAV for RNP/RNAV approaches!

    Great video thank you Claudio …a quick question ! I’m a bit old school and not familiar with PDMG and similar computer based sims,for someone transitioning back onto the triple after a long period of time would you suggest that this type of application is handy/beneficial for getting back upto speed. Regards

      Yes, for sure!
      If you are talking about the 777 and you need to start practicing now, you have to have the P3D (v5) and the B777 from PMDG.
      If you have some time (like a year or so) wait for PMDG to launch the B777 for the new MSFS2020.
      If you need any other plane there are good options with the 737, 747 and 320. Each and everyone for different simulator plataforms (FSX, P3D, XP11, MSFS2020). Let me know if you need any help!

      @@LEVEL_CHANGE unfortunately Claudio I’ve only got 2 months before I’m back in the 77 sim so I’m trying to squeeze as much computer based stuff in as l can,I’ve found your TH-cam stuff very helpful Keep up the good work ps just looking at your RNAV stuff as we speak.

      Hi again Claudio… just checking ! for reasons too long to explain l have downloaded and been running msfs 2020.. although it’s very good it tends to shoot thru altitudes significantly,loses commanded speeds often and generally some other weird stuff ! just confirming these are known things with this platform and not me having finger trouble ! lm suspecting the level of accuracy I’m expecting and used too is too high ? regards

    Yes l realise this now,it behaved ok for a while but is now unusable,l really hadn’t realised about the whole scam thing.
    So now to get the prepar3d or the pdmg. Keeping in mind l know nothing about this,do both of those platforms require msfs 2020 to be installed or have l completely wasted my money getting the msfs package ? and should l just now purchase and download prepar3ed or pdmg and start again,will take your advice either way. Thanks Mike
