I've been using the coolant for about a year now as well. I have machined multiple types of material with it including 6061, Grade 2 & 5 Titanium, Bronze, Brass, 303 304 and 316 Stainless with no issues. My only issue I had was a sticky layer when the concentration got to high one time. I try to keep it right at 5% on the refractometer. With 1.5 multiplier it ends up being 7.5%. Also, you may see light rust appear on surfaces... To help this I use filtered water via tank from Culligan and a VERY thin layer of oil (such as spindle oil) between my vice and table when putting on the vices. There are some aftermarket products available but I am not familiar with them and have not seen any more rust. Also, I find that I'm getting more actual water evaporation and am having to add less amounts of coolant (Synergy 735) than I was with other coolants. Even though it costs a little more I'm saving money and enjoying all the other benefits. Very happy.

Blaser Synergy 735 Update....... Talked with the Blaser rep yesterday. They have reformulated the 735 to handle the issue with the coolant.
They say the new formula will take care of the problems.
He told me the new version of the coolant will be out in June.

Guys I have noticed something odd with this coolant. I have a new Haas TL-1 Lathe. I have had the Synergy 735 running in it for 2 months.
It has been in the machine since it was new Running it at 8% concentration. The coolant is leaving a very sticky
residue behind on all painted cast iron surfaces in the machine. None of the painted sheet metal surfaces are
affected. Other than that this coolant is fantastic. Just a little worried on what it could be doing to the paint on the cast iron.

I've been using it now for about a year. I noticed the same thing, however, once I made sure to keep it at no more than 5% on my refractometer everything is much better. There is a 1.5% multiplier which in the end is 7%. Since your post is a year ago I'm sure your supplier has already relayed this? I'm really liking the coolant.

Do you still have this product in your machines? Still excited? Any Problems? I am looking for a coolant like that but I do not trust the sales rep. 😁

Sounds like you've never used a Castrol Syntilo product. This is nothing new. Syntilo products have been around a looong time
