Amazing Helicopter. Sure it doesn't have all of the latest technology but that isn't the point! Solid, russian design. Pragmatic and functional. Interestingly, I am not seeing poor build quality. The fuselage and riveted panels were fitted and fastened with some care. I even like the old truck. the engine is running like a clock. And started perfectly on the first spin.

Let me clarify that Russia is using a deep modernization of the Mi 26t2, perhaps there is an automatic ramp control system there.

I didn't see anything "crazy" about how they fly the biggest helicopter. What's CRAZY is that anyone would get in any of those ancient tubs of corroded rivets and filthy panels. Not a lot of pride in workmanship evident in the video.
