Sad this happens 😢 love Portugal hoping to get there. Nice parkup lots of space! Aww bless the impatient babies, isla cries as soon as MH stops! She thinks it times to be let loose 😂 washing days don't you love them! Thanks for sharing
Hi guys 🤗 great to catch up with you tonight ❤ That sunset was spectacular, I said to Gary "it looks like a film set" just as you said it was like a movie set 🎥 The dryer was a bit dodgy, did seem a miracle it didn't combust! Thanks for sharing where corks come from, we had no idea. Lovely vlog, thank you, lots of love Julia and Gary ❤️
I'm glad you're both safe and well, Corrin & Paul. Some lovely places on this vlog . Thanks for showing us around and sharing . Much appreciated. See you all on the next one ❤
I was in Nazare in sept 1980, we had massive storm with waves almos hitting our hotel opposite promonade. Beautiful place, nice to see bit of it again...
That was one amazing sunset, such a shame you had to abandon the Portugal trip but better to be safe as you say. It looks like an fantastic trip but there is always another year. Thanks for some brilliant ideas for a year and a half time. Bryan and Dawn
Haven't watched yet young Redders's but will do when we've settled long enough to watch . We're on our own adventcha at the mo . We're travelling up to do the sw300 . Will report in later xx.
Hi once again young Redders's . Managed to view over a distance of 210 miles . 20 minutes worth at Scotch Corner and finished off overlooking the Solway Firth but I'll swap places with you two . We will be in December . What did strike me was the number of days you have left . It's gone amazingly quick . Looking forward to the Spanish part . Turning out to be quite an adventure . Take care both and stay safe , love from the old Redders's xx
Evening ole Redders ❤️🙂 must be a bit chilly with you I bet ! December is a great time of year to travel, I’m certain it’ll be fab, love Scotland too, but boy it gets cold ! Stay safe and enjoy, ❤️🙂👌 younger Redders x
Hi Both, Really glad you are both safe & sound 💖👍 very interesting to know all about the cork & the trees glad you managed to do all your washing but if I was you I would have given up & headed back home with all the fires going on please keep safe Lin 👍💖
Blimey guy's you've had some seriously bad luck in Portugal 🇵🇹 😳 😬 Hope you're safe and well looking forward to seeing where you go !!🤔 All the best Dave 👍🏻
@redsgotravels Yeah quite heartbreaking 💔 ist it & i can't believe that it's that hot in October it's quite bizarre!!😳😔 Can I ask a random question is there any law's in Europe for dogs in motorhomes as in seat belts as from your vlogs i can see wilf is in a proper car seat!! As just out of interest as we have a cockapoo so was just wondering what the situation was not that we have a Motorhome yet kind regards Dave 😀 👍🏻
Hi Dave , the law is dogs must be suitably restrained 🐾🐾 so any firm anchor point , dog crate etc will work , keeps you and them safe in the event of a sudden stop 💖 we are lucky we have 2 rear seatbelts , so we have a splitter on one seatbelt attachment to hold 2 dogs, and one on the other side, they all have harnesses too 🙂 our last van had no rear belts , I screwed an anchor point into a solid point under the seats ❤️🙂
Hi guys, good to know that you and the "babies " are safely away from the fires. The scenery has been staggering and the information you provide is giving us inspiration for our first European venture! Stay safe guys and look forward to catching up with your next vlog! Sid and Nicola
Hi guys ! So glad to hear you are feeling inspired 🙂❤️❤️ the fires were certainly fast moving, and the local fire service were amazing , all volunteers too … fantastic effort 🚒❤️❤️
Another great video. That's an interesting fact thankyou. I have a couple of corks in my craft corner, I'm amazed to find out where they come from. Xx xxx
Pity you had to cut your N2 trip short but it has been an exceptional time for fires. We didn't have fires near our house but we did prepare a grab bag and repare the camper in case of an evacuation at short notice.
It must’ve been so worrying for you , the bomberos were amazing , they were all working so hard , we also read the news about the aftermath and loss of life , so sad 😞.. stay safe ❤️🙂
Hi guys. I can’t believe how much that looked like a green screen. I also can’t believe your hair in the van made the camera. Clare makes me remove footage like that 😂 that’s why the narrative of our vlogs don’t always make sense 😂 love your humour guys, both so dry it does make us chuckle. Also love Corrin’s little educational sessions 😍
Evening guys ! Hope you are both keeping well 🙂❤️ the backdrop was a bit odd , but highlighted our best bit(s) 🤣 glad you enjoyed, no chalk board required this time to explain the naked trees 😂❤️
Hi lovelies 🥰 that scene on the beach really did look like a green screen it just didn’t look real! Such a shame about the fires in Portugal, the weather has been weird all summer really! Amazing info on the boats. Nice swerve Redder’s re the folding of the washing 🤣 I had no idea that cork came from the bark of a tree 😮 although I do feel sorry for the bare trees, however the corks are necessary for my wine 🍷 so they are forgiven !! 😂 great video guys ♥️ xxx
Hi guys ! It was certainly an odd sky, but fuelled by the devastating fires 😢 and the cork harvesting is amazing, naked trees an all that 😬🤣❤️ enjoy the vino 💖 xx
I think you made the right call to leave Portugal, lets hope the Authorities manage to get the fires under control soon. My thoughts go out to the many people that have lost homes/farms and lives in these fires.
Aww thank you 💖 it was certainly very worrying and the fire service did a tremendous job, we did read about the impact of the fires and it was so sad 😢💖🚒
Tomar with a castle up the hill. My brother lives there and there was a campsite i. The middle of town. So sorry to see more fires in Portugal it is so sad for such a beautiful country. Beautiful aire for free.
That aire is brilliant, perhaps they realise that by giving free access to life vans they are getting people to spend money in local villages, towns, supporting the local economy
Was there a reason that you didn’t visit the North Beach and mention the surfing and the gigantic waves caused by the canyon in the sea bed which causes the huge waves or visit the surfing museum in the old fort, the town is beautiful but the history of the big waves shouldn’t be missed, was it due to the unfortunate wild fires, we love Portugal, hope you have a safe and happy continued trip
@@janetwilliams3110 unfortunately because of the fires and heat we weren’t able to enjoy Nazare properly. The whole area was enveloped with smoke and unpleasant to be out in for long. The sea was like a millpond while we were there anyway. We would of loved to have seen Nazare at its best, but it wasn’t to be this time
Oh wow, the lilac sunset!! I know it can't be helped, but the N2 had been the focus of your trip...Are you feeling disappointed about not being able to complete it? Or has it been one or those where it's been an unexpected positive to go "off piste"?
@@redsgotravels Good on you 🙌 Will look forward to a future N2 attempt 😀. Would be interesting to see what it's like in low season maybe, to avoid the high temperatures?
Keep watching and you’ll see ! Everything is fully accounted for and figures adjusted every time 👌 remember, all the Aires are free , some with EHU free , we have only paid for 4 nights to this point in time 🙂
Nazaré is pronounced exactly the same way as you'd pronounce Nazareth in English, minus the "th" sound at the end. And another "interesting" fact is that both words mean the same, only in different languages. 😉
