On specifically that surface, bouncing 3 times doesn't instantly kill you. If you then land on the ground while holding r1, you can start jumping around without dying

Miscellaneous speedrun knowledge. That surface is the only one in the game that let's you survive after 3 bounces as long as you hold r1

Its a new trick. You position the camera over ratchet in a specific way, backflip, and kinda ride the camera. Its the same trick used to clip into the crate room on blarg and twice on oltanis
